Ok, here it goes:
Young and unsympathetic internet-millionaire has founded several webpages around traveling which he's heavily and annoyingly promoting with purchased ads in all TV stations.
He spreads EUR 50,-- and EUR 100,-- vouchers everywhere promising that clients will receive a credit after their return when they are booking his trips. Unfortunately, then nobody really replies and usually it takes around 8 reminders or an advocate to get the money back.
His company starts getting in trouble financially and his financial adviser knows an ex-banker, who knows an adviser who has a client in Italy, who may give him a 10 million SFR loan.
A deal is done - the businessman in Italy wants a 1,2 Million Euro security in cash when the contract is signed.
So businessman hires a 73 yo private pilot and flies with 2 of the advisers to Venice in a private jet, which is usually not fit for the trip over the Alps because it does not have a de-icing option for the wings. Private jet - possibly in order to avoid checks at the customs and being caught by carrying illegal money in a suitcase.
The 3rd adviser travels by car.
Meeting them all in Venice, 2 suitcases are exchanged and a meetup at the Venice bank is fixed to pay in the SFR 10 million.
The Italian businessman does not show up - the bank is closed and they discover that only 10.000 SFR are real, the rest false money.
The police is alarmed a file is recorded and they fly back home.
The plane crashes, all 4 passengers die and the suitcase with the remaining money is found by the police.
The guy who took the car back is the only survivor.
Great story, isn't it?
It happened for real last week:
