Olga Kurylenko posted this a photo of herself and Craig from QoS on Instagram. Is it a hint of Camile's return or just a trip down memory lane?
MI6Community also mentions a Reddit rumour that actress Sophie Rundle is a frontrunner for the next Bond girl. Rundle is best known from Peaky Blinders.
This is something we have to take with a shovel of salt. I haven't seen her in anything, but British actors are generally very good.
She is by no means unattractive, but based on photos she isn't a stunner. Perhaps a non-Bond girl role?
There should also be a part for Christina Hendricks.
yes! she would be perfect!
She is very capable and absolutely stunning. I would love some old school glamour (read curves ) in Bond. Ms Bellucci would also be a welcome return. Frankly any of the Age appropriate actresses mentioned would be good. Personal preference would not be for a French actress for reason previously stated. I always felt Olga Kurylenko to be a bit too similar a type to Eva Green for a consecutive film. However in terms of QOS being a sequel it made sense. At the moment I would take Teresa May if it meant that the film got made and they got a move on

I'm watching the TV series "Jamestown" where one of the lead role is played by Sophie Rundle, who has been mentioned as a candidate for the rumoured "understudy agent" role in Bond25.
I think she is a good actress who shows strength and inteligence. She is pretty, but I don't think she stunning like the other actresses mentioned such as Lily James.
She did say the naughtiest things she ever did was stroll through a wheat field.
Now I'll just imagine her in the white bikini walking through it as Boris Johnson

Because using American movie stars in Bond films always goes well... :v
Have to agree. Lois Chiles is the only American Bond girl who managed to not do a bad job. Carey Lowell was okay, but something about her character rubs me the wrong way.
It depends on what the story is. If the story has a focus on Bond seducing the young woman it can look bad. It also depends on how she looks and behaves. Purnell is 21 and looks even younger. Rundle is thirty and looks mature.
In the current #metoo climate it it would be very creepy for someone that young to be any of the Bond girl roles. urgh gross.

Personally, I think 15 years is an acceptable age gap, if the love interest is well-written to not be an immature schoolgirl-type. Characterization is key. The age difference between Tanya Roberts and Sir Rog was the least problem I had with AVTAK...and IMO she was not well-written.

yeh but if they are going the Logan route, the rumoured double-oh-in-training could turn out to be younger than that.
I think Li'l Wolvie was like eight, maybe ten years old at most?
...and she was Wolverine's daughter, which would totally fit with the storytelling style of the most recent Bond films. I can see it all, I'm gonna start writing the script for them, just in case this Hodge fellow doesn't work out.
I really hope they don’t follow Logan that closely, it would be worse than trying to be OHMSS 2.
But if "understudy" story is true they can handle using a young actress in a way that isn't creepy.

Count me in for Kathryn Winnick as a potential Bond girl. I recall seeing her in an episode of CSI: New York back in 2004 and I was impressed with both her acting and martial arts skills. Kelly Hu is someone else I would not mind seeing either. I remember her mentioning in an interview during Pierce Brosnan's tenure that she was interested in playing a Bond girl. Even thought she is older now, she looks really good for her age.

Kelly Hu looks fantastic. Katherine Winwick may be too close in type to Seydoux for this one but also is a stunning looking woman. Not seen either act so only going on superficial looks. Need to check how tall as anyone over 5ft8 is probably too tall for the incumbent

As long as the actresses are good actresses, are attractive and they are not French brunettes it's probably OK by me. Not that I'm against French brunettes, there's been enough of them in Craig's tenure.
A bit like Italy, the Alps and Turkey as locations, really.

Grain of salt, obviously ...
Ahh! Thank you, sir! It didn't show up under "New Posts" when I logged in so I didn't check it.
All the best!
Indeed! The last one was bad enough
