I don't know!
I just paste the URL's of the photos and post them.
It's a good point that people suggest actresses and actors they know of. Just one more reason more people should watch world cinema and accept subtitles,
Has anyone mentioned Louise Brealey? I think she's very pretty and she seems capable of acting in all sorts of roles...besides, I'm smitten with her......OK, that's an exaggeration..

I know it's far from a strong link, but Cary Fukunaga's actress/model girlfriend Kristine Frøseth has started following actress Aiysha Hart on Instagram. Hart is a 28 year old British actress with an Arab mother. I'd say her age and heritage fits well with Rami Malek's. Kristine Frøseth and Aiysha Hart aren't in the same TV-series or films.
A member of The Other Place suggested Sonoya Mizuno. She is 32, a Japanese-born British actress/model and former ballerina. That sounds really Bondian, don't you think? She's been in some well-known TV and movie roles including La La Land, Ex Machina, Beauty and the beast, Crazy Rich Asians and Maniac. Cary Fukunaga developed and directed Maniac, so she already has a ballarina foot in.

Good detective work there. Fukunaga's girlfriend follows actress she's never worked with and so one assumes she doesn't know.
She reminds me of Solange. I have read about 'world culture' for marketing, where corporations want people whose ethnicity is not obvious for mass appeal.
I don't think this necessarily has anything to do with Malik. I still think his Bond25 rumour is about promoting his TV show. Their Egyptian heritage could be a coincidence.
Remi Malik is of Egyptian Heritage. Aisha Hart is half Saudi, not Egyptian.

Good suggestions for the future Bond Girls. I am kind of of surprised that we have not had a Bond Girl of Arab / Middle Eastern descent yet in the series. A Japanese Bond girl would be nice too, especially if Bond is going to Japan or the Japanese government is involved in the story somehow.
I'm still really holding out hope for Laura Mvula to sing the title track on this one and she makes no effort to hide the fact she'd love to sing a Bond theme song.
The last one for Spectre was a bit EMO, I think we need another powerful female singer and I love her Grace Jones'esque vibe. She has everything for me to give us a classic but also modern Bond opening song. Here's hoping Barbara Broccoli is reading my post

I agree, I'd love to see a Japanese Bond girl, they are so pretty.
We know Lea Seydoux will be in Bond25, and she's French.
It seems likely the new MI6 agent will be played by a British actress, and I hope they will find some fresh talent. What do you think?
I think the mystery woman will be played by some actress who's not from the English-speaking countries. Partly for variation, but mostly because an actress from Japan, Russia, India or some other country that's exotic to the audiences in the important British and American markets is often seen as mysterious.
Hopefully they'll fins an actress who's a star in her country, but she's unknown internatinally.

Eva Green is French but has a very good English voice so while it might seem obvious it would have to be an English actress for the rumoured young female MI6 agent role, I don't think it's necessarily going to be one.

I think Berenice Marlohe was a fantastic mysterious woman. So, they could be European, or not. Who knows. Solange was played by an Italian actress, Caterina Murino, she could have been described as a mysterious woman. Monica Belluci, another Italian actress, played a mysterious woman of sorts. Maybe Chinese, considering how important that market is now for movies?
In the radio interview he says it was very stressful doing it and he seems to have been stung by negative comments about the song. I think it's a good song, it's just he can't sing it. The Jane Zhang cover is good.
IMHO a winner from this year's Grammys is more likely to do it. The Grammys is on 10 February.

I don't mind Smith's performace. I think it's a poorly written song.
I like the melody and I enjoyed the instrumental version used in the train scene. But the song is written from the perspective of Bond, and Bond does not suit a falsetto voice ;
Tell me is this where I give it all up?
How do I live? How do I breathe?

Mi6 recruit from from many nationalities, the female British agent is not forced to be British, but saying that probably will be. I too hope for some fresh talent.

This is how I picture Craig's Bond in his first three Bond films. But it really doesn't fit with Spectre. The theme makes little sense with the film.

I actually kind of agree with this. The tone of the first three Craig films was fairly consistent. Spectre was all over the place, but Bond definitely wasn’t emotionally vulnerable. The lyrics to the song, in addition to being terrible, just didn’t work. The music wasn’t bad.

The music is bad too. It crescendos as it leads up to the soft falsetto part. That works the first time because it's a suprise, but the second time the drop off is a let down. The song musically builds up to nothing. There's no pay off.
I think its nicer when the introduce totally new talent and help launch some new people's careers. Why not? You have the lead roles already as known stars.
I thought they were after several actresses and villans still?
I agree. We suspect Rami Malek will be the villan, but we don't know for sure. We have no idea about the casting of henchmen, a "mystery woman" and a fresh female MI6 agent. This month will probably give us some exiting news! :007)
Would the Bond25 title song artist have been asked by now?
I doubt it. Of DC's Bond films, only Chris Cornell had not won a Grammy the year before their film came out. Dua Lipa has not been nominated this year.
The Grammys take place in February, this year 10 Feb. As Bond25 is coming out 14 Feb. 2020, it's safe to assume 2020's Grammys will have no bearing on the theme singer.
They usually announce the singer and song in the September, about, six weeks before the movie is released. So, we can expect a Christmas 2019 announcement.
I am surprised there hasn't been more speculation on the theme singer. Since the summer there has been virtually no speculation. So far Dua Lipa, Ed Sheeran (Again!) and Beyonce seem to have had the most press rumour stories.
Of the top 20 biggest selling albums of this year, only the Arctic Monkeys have had a Grammy nom for the 2019 awards (held on 10 February). They have had 5 nominations and no wins. https://www.nme.com/news/music/top-40-b … ar-2350315
And Supergroup, The Last Shadow Puppets, which includes Arctic Monkeys members, wrote In My Room, which someone has dubbed over the Casino credits. Quite Bondian. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k4QR4o5A2Q4
Of course, Fukunaga has said that his favourite theme was Duran Duran's so he could up for a band to do the theme. BTW Spectre theme tune runners-up Radiohead have won Grammys.
You say they announce the singer six weeks before the film's release, but when is the artist contacted by EON? I think that's the question after reading the article in the link.
Many think Lady Gaga will get the job. Here she is performing a jazz tune with Tony Bennet. She's got what it takes :007)
