I'm just gauging interest really, I've had a couple of members contact me to ask me where I got the lapel pin badge from used as my avatar, this is isn't a pin badge, as I'm sure some of you know it's the bond shield on the front of my omega aqua terra watch box. But it got me thinking, a pin badge like that would be a nice little thing to have, so I've made a couple of enquiries and can get a quantity manufactured in the UK for around £6.00 each, thats ordering 50, is there any interest out there for getting these made? I'm not trying to make a profit and even considered getting them done and sending them out to those members I regularly chat to then putting the rest on eBay or something. Let me know if your Interested, I'm also getting further quotes. Many thanks gentlemen.
It was either that.....or the priesthood

What I've been told is its incredibly hard to trademark generic shapes such as circles, squares chevrons etc, but entering into the world of coats of arms is a complex thing, I've heard things like proving your family line to prove the right to bare arms and things like that, the chevron is on many coats of arms as are bezants as knights were paid with bezants. But that all aside omega don't appear to have registered this probably as it's part of a full design and the intellectual rights to that design are unclear.
So in a nut shell I'm progressing and awaiting some prices, time scales and advice on the most appropriate manufacturing process.
Just a quick look tbrough this guide shows that a chevron means " Protection"
And Bezant means " virtue, wealth and prosperity "
just for fun I looked up my family crest it too has a chevron and three dragon heads which
apparently means my ancestors were " always up for a fight "

Seemingly the clam shells represent pilgrimages!?

Must admit I'd really like a full cost of arms badge :x

For those interested below is the real Bond coat of arms. The motto non sufficit orbis was originally a war cry used by the knight when entering battle.
I will start compiling a list of those interested in the pin badge and I should have some final costs by early next week, hopefully by late next week some composition details and some artwork of the badge.
This is what the badge will be based on

They'd lambaste me if I were in politics for refusing to wear a flag lapel pin, not because it is a flag but because it is a pin.
