ROYALE Filmwear QoS Harrington 2016

Hi Gents,

Just thought I'd give a quick update on this latest production run and say thanks a bunch for getting behind me and ROYALE yet again. Another amazing response to this jacket. I am sorry to say the XXL's are already gone. What happened there is the jackets came in about an inch smaller than I'd planned (as refeleted in the sizing table) They're perfect and I could not be happier with them, just a hair smaller then I intended. The net result was that even though I had enough to cover interest, a handful of guys have jumped from the XL to the XXL, and while I'm sure a few have done that in the other sizes, naturally I'm not producing as many in the extreme sizes XS & XXL. The most jackets ordered are in the M L sizes with quantities reducing outwardly from there.

My apologies to those who missed out. Most of the jackets went out today, but I still have a number to post tomorrow. I'll aim to get tracking numbers out in around 24hrs.

BTW, now officially sold out of the Soldens too.

Thanks again guys, I really appreciate it. Can't wait to see your feedback when you receive them!!!

Thanks for the update Dan, I can now stop emailing/harassing you :))

Regrettably, I am one of those who missed out on the XXL (X-large being too small in the shoulders for me).

Do you have any plans to do another run soon, or an extra run of XXL? Or is their the remotest of chances that people will return their XXL and they will become avaiable online again?

    Thanks.

Mine arrived today. Just brilliant looks fantastic great fit.Over last couple of months I've bought the Solden, and Mr White and both brilliant.
Along with the Billy Reid,Levi's Menlo , and JV racer I now have a pretty good collection . All get worn although the JV not so much a bit nervous with the suede.

Just received mine in...RIDICULOUS. I am having a hard time finding any discernible difference from the screen accurate/used jacket. The fabric is an amazing evolution over the last version and the details are astounding....review vlog will be this Sunday since I can't wait to discuss this.

    Dan....you da Man!

David, for those of us that use your sizing to help us reference our own, do you mind me asking what you ended up going with?
  • The Bond ExperienceThe Bond Experience Newtown, PAPosts: 5,490Quartermasters
I wound up going with a medium...it's a perfect fit...you will see in the vlog that I also try on a small but the small was a wee bit tight and did not look screen accurate with it too constricting...too quote Goldlocks, the medium was "just right...."

    Great pics David!!

The fit looks spot on. Naturally I can't wait for your full comments in the vlog, but I was so pleased today to see your initial feedback. (Thanks to 007Downunder for alerting me) Indy's Quantum sunglasses look brilliant, might have to pick up a pair for myself. :D

I think I'm right in saying you wore a size small in the previous harrington David? These are about a size smaller than the previous version, but whats in the current sizing table is very accurate specs for this production run.

Well it's late, late, late here, but after such a good day, I'm having a hard time winding down. A massive thank you to everyone who has purchased this jacket, the most recent orders will ship first thing tomorrow.

i have my finger hovering above the purchase button, about to pull the trigger, i can NOT decide on a size. i don't want to get it wrong again! i constantly hang out around a medium or large. hopefully someone can help or lend me something definitive.

i'm 5'10" 180-185lbs, muscular with fairly broad shoulders. i'm leaning towards medium, but... just can't seem to land anywhere. i have the Royale Solden jacket in medium, but that seems more forgiving, more stretchy. i bought his mr white jacket in a large and the belly seems to have a lot of excess fabric, i feel like i should have gone with a medium. (large for sale!)

there was a lot of talk about the tightness of the shoulders and that has me worried. the SA look is not really that tight. which is surprising for bond clothing. any input would be appreciated!

Shoulders. Go with the shoulder measurement always. If the chest is too big you can always get it tailored. Make sure it fits in the shoulders and you should be good.

That jacket looks like Dan hit a grand slam this time. It looks just like the TF one. Looks great on you David.

I'm so glad now that I did get this v.3 even though I also own v.2.

    Can't wait to get mine!

I'm almost exactly the same size as you (5lbs lighter and an inch shorter) and have wide shoulders. I went with the large based on Dan's recommendation.

OK so I want this jacket real bad also but am not sure on size too. I am 6' 2" 200lbs with 42 inch chest (broad) and 34" waist. I usually get a large but am nervous about getting XL as the waist seems wide. Anyone with any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Most important measurement is the shoulders. If it won't fit your shoulders, all other measurements don't matter.

As Dan says, this jacket fits a bit smaller in the shoulders than his first one, so go up one size from your normal size. That's why I went from XL, to XXL.

    Dan.

I just received my jacket this evening, and I just wanted to say THANKS DAN because it is unbelievably fantastic, especially at the price! The quality of the construction, the fabric, and the color are incredible and the fit, for me is perfect. I'm 5'9, about 170 lbs, 42" chest with a 31-inch waist. I went with the Medium after using my Levi's Menlo (also a medium) to measure. The look on me is slightly more fitted than the SA version as used in QOS, but quite close. The Menlo has typically been my go-to jacket, but it'll have to split time with the Harrington now because I'm finding it difficult to want to take this jacket off. So hat's off to Dan! Along with the Solden and the Altauesse, you continue to knock it out of the park!

Anyone in the UK received theirs yet ? I'm slightly concerned my tracking says "Delivered" and it's not here.

I have had that a couple of times when my parcel got held up in customs and I had to pay customs fees. You'll probably receive a notice for payment sometime this week. After payment you can schedule a delivery.

Have to agree with all of the previous comments and I'm pleased I contacted Dan when this new run was originally mooted as it enabled me to get one of these jackets as soon as they came out.

Mine's an XXL and is a good fit (5'11", 220lbs, 48" chest). Picked it up this morning from local Post Office Depot. With one waist button fastened it's a loose (ish) fit and with both fastened it's a fitted look. I was worried about the fit around the shoulders when I heard it was more fitted than the original but it's great.

Many thanks to Dan for bringing this one back!
