Is this an as-yet-undiscovered James Bond tie?

I have been looking at a James Bond style-related page on Instagram (instagram.com/thebondlifestyle) and it shows this picture of Bond which is apparently used in Quantum of Solace and Skyfall:

I don't recognise the tie that he's wearing, and thought that it might be of interest here, and wondered if anyone fancied trying to identify it? I know we've got some clever people on here. -{

Nah not in the film. Guess promo shot. There was a similar thing in Skyfall - diff tie on a promo shot with Istanbul suit

I don't believe he ever actually wears it in QoS or SF. I think it's in a file photo of him in the scene where he contacts HQ and they are doing the name check on Dominic Greene. It looks to be Bond's ID picture on the virtual screen in M's office.

You can see it at the 33:53 mark of the movie. Best view of that photo is at 34:04. -{

I found a 480p version of that ad and the tie looks to be a solid colour.

That would make sense since he accessed MI6's database.

It's also on the screen of M's computer straight after Bond's 'death' in Skyfall, when she is writing his obituary, but the picture cuts off below his chin so the tie cannot be seen. I think it is Bond's official ID picture for MI6, so while not properly featured in the films as part of an outfit, it is a part of the DC Bond's world. My money's on it being Tom Ford.

It looks like it might have some green in it, which is an uncommon color for Bond! Like most of Craig's Bond ties, I like it.

I'm not seeing any green. I see navy and cream. When navy and cream come together, it's like blue and yellow coming together to make green.

Wow! This is news to me. That is a beautiful tie. That's one of my new favorites! This is quite an amazing find! Great detective work guys! If it is the tie in his picture, that makes it all the more cool because of the subtlety. I bet this would be a hard tie to find so many years later now unfortunately.

Yeah seeing as its almost eight years later I think its safe to assume its long gone now unless someone already has one. Reminds me a lot of Brosnan's ties.

Several stills from the sfx company behind the Bravia ad, and they make the tie look very similar to the Greene Planet tie, no?

Maybe someone with better eyes than mine can confirm or deny
