I've just that Bonds old friend Felix is about to be published is a new series of adventures, this may be the first step in an expanding bond universe, I have mixed feelings about this.

    I have mixed feelings about this too. Spin-offs never really work very well I find. It's James Bond that we go to see or read. Still, I'm prepared to give it a chance. I know it's something that some fans had been calling for for a while now. We'll see how it all pans out.

    I like Felix as a character, particularly in the books, I was also very pleased to see Jeff Wright play him in the first 2 dc films, underused though he was. I just have mixed feelings about expanding bonds universe. That said I enjoyed the series Fleming but never considered that as an expansion.

    As for the book, I'll obviously give it a go, but my hopes aren't high, so hopefully it
    will be a pleasant suprise.

    Looking forward to reading this, it sounds really interesting. Also looking forward the upcoming James Bond story Hammerhead which arrives on October 12th.
