Octopussy & Goldeneye promo badges

Hello all,

While in the garage this morning found this 2 Bond badges and just wondered if the good people here know about their history/origins. Worth anything?

Here's some further details and pictures:

Octopussy
I'm guessing I picked this up in 1983 from the cinema screening the film when released in the UK - I was approx. 8 years old so I have no recollection of it! It uses the Octopussy tentacle logo in the first "0" and the gun symbol 7, the three lines of text beneath reads:
"Officially Licenced through Moneypenny LTD"
"SPECIAL AGENTS FOR 007"
"Eon Productions LTD & Glidrose Publications LTD 1983".
It's a bit weathered but a nice bit of Bond promotional history.

Goldeneye
I got this pin badge when working at a cinema when it was released theatrically in 1995, as a promotional item I wore on my tie. I do remember donning it maybe the opening weekend and then slipped it back in its little ziplock bag where it's stayed for 21 years until now!
It's in mint condition, featuring the films logo. On the reverse it reads "DANJAQ. INC & UAC".
Pin clasp is still tight and works perfectly. Nice piece of Fleming history too what with all that this particular title means in the Bond universe.

Thanks for your time. Happy Sunday!

Have both of those, both are relatively common.
The OP badge being effectively paper over a tin base is maybe USD $1-3. Believe these were to promote the video release.
The GE being metal, relief, etc. is a bit more at USD $5-10. These were also given out at the premiere in goodie bags.

I believe that Ian Fleming wrote into the James Bond novel a Feltham built Aston Martin because his neighbour had one. But the films deviated from this. The lapel pins for JB were not for the original Aston. The badge should be 1950-1971 bonnet badge format and these are available from the Aston Martin Feltham Club which are not only the correct format but have the correct colour - unlike many others of the market. AMFC only had a small quantity made

Well that's that cleared up then. Can anyone with the incorrect badge please leave the building. If found wearing the wrong badge, it could be serious. This guys not messing about here. I love badges by the way.
