Just to take the mystery out of this, I have 12 VERY hi res pictures that clearly show the shoulder, collar, buttons, hem, sleeves, cuff, back etc...I have researched this shirt for awhile so I have accumulated some great shots. Happy to share with Indy to make the most accurate representation....even have a costume swatch Image of the original shirt. And this is the shirt he is discussing just so there is no question:
I know you and others here have contacts in the industry so I was wondering were you ever able to find out who made the shirt or is it still a mystery?

One of the biggest mysteries in the whole franchise I'm afraid... And as years go by it will be more and more difficult to identify the real deal. Along with the funnel neck cardigan from the opening scene I think CR has the highest amount of unidentified items out of all Craig's movies, we have no idea who made his beige chinos worn with the Sunspel polo (Ted Baker being a suspect but the model was never confirmed), the blue chinos worn with that long sleeve polo, 90% of the opening scene outfit is a mystery, the whole clinic outfit is one big question mark... Ugh.

Yeah I think Casino Royale has the most unidentified pieces, and 10 years later I don't think its going to get any easier to find them.
Wow Indy, that picture gives a much better idea of colour than the last one... seems a bit bleached in the light - looks damn fine, although (to my very untrained eye) are the buttons on the SA one larger, and more white rather than pearl/translucent? No doubt the finished model will be spot on...
Im only a couple of hours away in Hawkes Bay if you want a second opinion
Hi Indy, the prototype looks great. But one note or question: Is it possible to make the top of the concealed button placket more screen accurate (rounded instead of pointed)? Or would this make the polo shirt disproportionately expensive?
Comments
With Davids pics and Tintins costume card it sounds like this one will be nailed! -{
I stopped looking at polo shirts. I think it is a rugby shirt.
The color tone (hue) is spot on, just a hair lighter than the original, so I'm pretty happy.

The hidden button placard is quite interesting. Differentiates it from my other long sleeved polos.

And yes, we'll be revising the collar stand area as well and lengthening the front placket by about 1". Here is the prototype being worn:
We'll be making one more prototype to verify all details before starting full production...
