Is the regular Omega coaxial 300 SA?

I've heard in the early days of Spectre Craig was wearing it but I'm not sure, if anyone can chime in that'd be great.

Dc was photographed wearing the standard version on a black and grey nato at the Rome Photo call, I've often thought he would also of worn this during filming but there is a resounding opinion that he didn't, what niggles me is that why would dc swap watches from an le version to standard one?

Anything worn on the set would presumably not be worn off the set. So unless Daniel Craig was seen with the watch in full costume, it's unlikely the Rome photocall would be anything to go on.

I'd say it was a crafty bit of marketing by Omega :D

Yeah I thought about that also. I also agree it's incredibly unlikely a valuable film prop would be allowed off set, but did omega make special watches for filming do we know or are they just limited editions, with the exception of the close up exploding one of course.

The watches were exactly the same as the Ltd Editions but not numbered. Even the exploding one. The red detailing was just CGI, the actual filming prop used in the countdown scene had the hour and minute hands permanently set to zero (12 0'clock) and the second hand was removed apart from the base white ring. The second hand was then added using CGI as continuity was easier that way.

Something that I wonder about with the limited edition, I noticed when using it for diving actually, the lume is all the same colour, where as the standard (as with many omega divers) has a different colour lume on the second hand. Does this indicate the le is not intended for diving? I know the bi directional bezel is not a great idea for a diving watch, but is there a reason for it on the le? Or just to further tell it apart from the standard? I wonder if it was meant for a reason in the film?
