True but that's a book follow on, the Galore of the film is different. Which imo is why it may have been a mistake to bring her back for the book. I mean, in the book she's a Texan, so to have her shacked up in Bond's London Mayfair pad is just asking for trouble, she'll never fit in. Plus, a lot of Bond's affairs are holiday romances, they don't travel.
Much of that section in Trigger Mortis reminded me of Bond and Tiffany Case trying to make it work in the fine James Bond 'biography' by John Pearson in the 60s.
Horrovitz wanted to redeem Fleming for his sexism in 'curing' Galore's lesbianism, though again, in modern terms I am not sure it meant anything except Galore was bi.
The Galore in the film is English, Honor Blackman of course, and quite refined so you could imagine her in London's Mayfair. It was her butch leathers in The Avengers and being blonde that got her the role. I think it may have been disconcerting for fans of the film to read about Galore in TM.
