I'd like it to return also along with universal exports.
When I bought my car earlier this year I discovered it was sterling grey in colour , that Bond connection made me smile.
I wasn't aware Dc's bond had assumed the Robert sterling cover name, what have I missed???
The Universal Exports card he hands Greene's guard uses "R. Sterling."
Nice nod to the Moore years.
Clearly UE is from the novels but was Sterling ever used in the books?
"Mr and Mrs Robert Sterling, bearing a striking resemblance to Bond and Anya, had island-hopped from the port of Santa Teresa di Gallura on the north-east coast of Sardinia and were now installed upon the Isla Caprera...
‘...How long do you envisage people staying down there?'
A chilling intensity froze the liquid eyes. ‘Indefinitely, Mr Sterling.’
"Sterling" or "Robert Sterling" appears 14 times in Christopher Wood's novelization, James Bond, The Spy Who Loved Me.
Bond used a number of different aliases in the novels, including Peter Franks (DAF), Mr. Bryce (first name never provided) (LALD), David Somerset (as mentioned by Chriscoop) (FRWL), Sir Hilary Bray (OHMSS), Taro Todoroki (YOLT) and Mark Hazard (TMWTGG). There are possibly others I missed too, but I don't believe Roger Sterling is found anywhere in the novels.

I'm really going to have to read this one, its the only one I've never read.
This is the one I had made back in 2012, trying to see if I can get my hands on some more, might see if he can do R Sterling too? Where did that one come from?

Christopher Wood is among the tops or the top in Bond novels other than Fleming. It's scary how Fleming-like his books are and it would have been amazing to see that translate better to the screen for TSWLM and MOON.
I wondered about something like that though I was thinking possibly the studio had it reserved.
Bit like the 555 phone numbers used in US films and television shows.
For "real numbers" certain digits add to control numbers in a sort of credit card cipher code... pretty interesting stuff. All I can ever remember is that VISA starts with 4, Amex with 34/37, MasterCard with 5s...

I don't think it was used in any novel, the only alias I remember is David Somerset in frwl.

DC's Quantum screen used black AMEX card
Yeah I am intrigued now!
"Better make that two."
Both the Bond and Sterling cards have the same number.
