Follow up with a "How can I miss it if I don't know what IT is!" vlog in which he somehow forces Eon execs to share the identity of those mystery items that still haunt us.
Spectre dressing robe
Venice polo
Etc, etc ...
There's one that bugs me every time I see it - on Bond's table in his flat there's a small ice bucket next to the MacCallan. I want it!!!
The SPECTRE dressing gown, I can reveal, was bought by Jany Temime, she told me at the SPECTRE Auction, in a Turkish shop in Pimlico. They only bought one, as they were all different, so they had to chance it, and pray that they had no accidents re continuity.

Yay! So kadd and I were getting close with the hypothesis it was a bekasab chapan. Thank you sir!

Looks like they are sold out now on the website. Glad I got my pair ordered yesterday! The buying power of the Bond community continues to amaze me. Even in a dead period between movies, these sell out rapidly. Good stuff Chaps! Hope everyone that wanted a pair got one! {[]
As someone who had David Mason tailor for me when he was first starting out as Anthony Sinclair back in Sackville Street and has seen his business grow, I'm not sure I can fathom a business model where a product that isn't even marketed as a limited edition, but sells out in what...less than two weeks? (I think I got the promotion email the middle of this month)...but demand is doubtless still there for, yet the product discontinued
David Z - I for one would still like to see a review of the sunglasses, even if you have to make clear that they are no longer available. Again, why an opportunity for free promotion of the brand - if not the sunglasses in question - would be suppressed beats me too ?:)
Am I getting this wrong then... I thought David had obtained the name Curry & Paxton to trade with, just as he has with Anthony Sinclair? C&P don't actually exist anymore, so its not like Mason & Sons are being supplied by them ?:)

Does that mean Mason & Sons will be doing prescription frames? From the site, it sounds like they just have this ready-to-wear line from C&P:
Today Curry & Paxton have returned, offering a fully bespoke service, with custom high-grade cellulose optical frames from world-renowned Italian manufacturer Mazzucchelli, and prescription lenses. To celebrate the relaunch of the company, Curry & Paxton are also offering a Ready-to-Wear sunglasses collection, exclusive to Mason & Sons, inspired by classic frames worn by some of the greatest icons of the 20th century.
On their Facebook page this morning Mason & Sons have announced that the SEAN Thunderball model sold out in 007 days but... They're planning to re-run this model next year. B-)
I think they too have been surprised at the response to these.
Yes. It was also announced on their Instagram. Seems like they reacted in the correct manner after all to the incredible demand of the sunglasses. Really happy to hear this.

Unlike Tom Ford, Mason & Sons exists for the customer and not for the sake of a designer.

However, I've had a headache since putting them on today. Am I crazy or is anyone else having this experience?

Correct. Mason & Sons owns Curry & Paxton.

At the beginning of the beach scene, Connery is wearing the glasses we all know and love (notice the vertical white dots)...
But to my eyes he has a different pair on for the 2nd half of the scene. Those dots now look horizontal to me...
The shape looks different to me too, with the 2nd having a taller lens.
