Joel Mchale Solden Jacket

Hi, Guys - Thought you might enjoy a photo of semi-beloved actor Joel Mchale wearing his Tom Ford Solden jacket. He's got the real deal version while I can only swing the (still amazing) Royale version. It's currently rainy and miserable in New York, so packing my suede Varvatos jacket was not the brightest move.
Also, if I can slip a minor plug into this post, I co-wrote Joel's recently released memoir/self-help book "Thanks for the Money". It's completely satirical and - more importantly - includes a couple of Bond Easter eggs. -{

Been a huge fan of his since I was in the 8th grade and his Soup started..... went to the WWE taping around the time Skyfall was released (where he asked the audience what movies they'd seen lately) and I remember him being very nice, down to earth at the end when asking for pics. (So very bummed Soup is over; are you at liberty\do you know if he ended it or did E! cancel it?)
I remember seeing Tom Ford's name pop up in the end credits on many episodes for the various suits\shirts\ties Joel wore.
My other question is: is Joel McHale a Bond fan who found out Tom Ford made the Solden jacket and had to have it? Or did you, as a Bond fan, turn him onto it?
Congratulations on the book!
Do you have pics by any chance?
Did he get the TF Solden before or after seeing you in the Royale?
I immediately thought the same thing, especially the shoulders.
A fan of his work; I think he is underrated.
Yes, my thoughts on the jacket have no reflection on my thoughts of his work. He was fantastic on The Soup and on Community. I never missed an episode of Community. A funny guy and a great actor with great charisma. He should be a bigger name than he is. He has the rare combination of being the leading-man type who is also very funny.
Good for him!
Steven might own it, but IMO Joel and Daniel rock it. ) ) )
McHale isn't a small guy; he's ripped. He just doesn't have the right build for it.
"- That is something to be afraid of."
It looks like he needed this size because of his chest, not his height. He just has sloping shoulders, which I'm sure cause him problems for a lot of ready-to-wear clothes.
Thanks for the kind words! Joel is indeed a very good guy. I've worked with a lot of on-camera folks who carefully cultivate a nice persona for their fans, but are completely broken monsters.
The Soup took a really big ratings hit when it got moved from Friday to Wednesday night and never really recovered. That combined with the E! network's decision to focus most of their programming on Kardashians pretty much doomed The Soup.
As for the Tom Ford stuff, Joel probably spent the majority of his wardrobe budget on Ford's clothing. I would always babble on about this site and about which pieces appeared in Bond movies while he just stared at me like I was crazy. He is a Bond fan, but it wasn't until I showed him the Spectre stuff that he got interested and wound up buying all the Tom Ford items from the movie. I tried to get him to throw an extra solden in for me and that was met with a good-natured chuckle. I do love my Royale version though.
I let Joel know that there were some thoughts on here that his shoulders looked small for the jacket and now that poor bastard is probably going to be doing military presses until he does some serious damage to his joints. )
