Great job richmenstoys,

I have just improved mine by getting a laytex mask and the correct hat.

I too hand painted mine and must say it proved more difficult then I thought. The white paint would sink in to the suit material and turn grey which ment I had to go over several times ..the silk tie also the same. The Chinese mask I bought from eBay was really thick in size and I had to cut it down to size to fit into the hat .

I must say really pleased with the latex mask makes such a difference and more comftable too!

I had the same problem with the mask...to heavy for wearing...eye holes not correct cutted out...horrorble X-(

Yes it was very heavy and there was precious little room for your nose ....very unforgiving and painful. Great for display but not practical for wearing long term.

The latex mask is so much better !

I did purchase it from this person on eBay and was very pleased with the result . is this where you obtained your incredible mask from ?

I love this thread - I'm working on a version of this for Halloween - It's not going to be 100% screen accurate - but it should be close enough for people to know what it's meant to be - photo's to come soon. -{
