Looking for advice: Buying from R.M. Williams online - shipped to U.S.

I've been thinking about getting a pair of chelsea boots and DC's plaited kangaroo belt from R.M. Williams for awhile. I believe it's free international shipping for any order over $500 and with the conversion rate it seems like a pretty good deal.

Couple of questions for anyone who has experience with them:

Do they have any sort of Black Friday sale that I should wait for?
For anyone ordering the belt - has there been any problems shipping kangaroo leather to the US?
Can I expect a customs bill as well?

I do know they specifically say on their site that Kangaroo leather has several exportation restrictions. So that might be a no go.
