Help with suits-experience with either Tom Ford or Anthony Sinclair

I'm seeking advice on buying a new bond related suit. I just got hired at Nordstrom in the men's furnishings department and I am in need of a suit. I have a couple of topman suits and things like that, but I'm ready to take the next step and get something nice which I'll use everyday. Any of your feedback and experience with any of the Bond brands on this topic would be most helpful. Thanks guys in advance!

Tom Ford is top quality and Anthony Sinclair bespoke is top quality. If you are moving up from Topman suits, those are complete opposites as far as price goes. Anthony Sinclair's ready-to-wear is solid, and well-priced. If you can meet with David Mason, I'd recommend Anthony Sinclair's special order suits.

I agree with Matt. I have suits by Anthony Sinclair. First class service from David Mason and a quality made to measure suit, plus shirt, tie and pocket square. Superb deal and at the price currently offered, you'll end up buying more than one. Superb and highly recommended.

I'd suggest to budget for a couple of suits, and alternate them. Same for shoes. Will last a lot longer that way, and if you buy wisely, you can even mix and match (potentially, odd jackets etc).

Matt S, or David Mason, will be able to advise you on such matters (also I am happy to as well)

Certain solid navy suit jackets can work on their own, as can solid grey trousers (and navy, to a lesser extent), but generally it's best to wear suits as suits. Department store employees usually can only wear suits and not odd jackets and trousers.

Thank you for your feedback gents! I really appreciate it! I do believe that I'm going to go with the Anthony Sinclair suit. I'll just have to get one for now due to my funds going to my little one, but I hope to pick up another before the end of the year.

For the price of one TF you can prob get 2 or 3 Sinclair so guess in your line of work Sinclair is the better option since I guess you might want to change things up

I purchased a suit from Mason and Sons. Can't speak highly enough about them.

I'm also in the process of having a suit made by Mason and Sons and I am enjoying the experience with David and his son Elliot. A couple of tweaks left to make but I love it so far!

Masons are great. The shirts are a damned fine fit too. I actually prefer them over T&A and I've been their loyal customer for 30 odd years. The updated Conduit cut that AS/Masons offer on their suits is a very distinctive English silhouette, and I'm a big fan.

Forgot about the shirt! +1 on that too. Excellent value too when compared to the price of a TA.
