I am looking for something below 3000 pounds, since the new one can be purchased for 3,200. However, thank you for the effort, I appreciate it very much! :-)

It is crazy, how Omega (not) holds it value and can be obtained in such a variety of prices :-/ Kind of depreciating the brand's valued perception for me. Still like the watch tough :-D

Standard price for the stainless version is £4170 across the board, you may get discount off that but I haven't seen new watches for £3200. That would be a good price for a mint pre owned one. £ 2800 is the best price I've ever seen and that one was in need of a service and Polish and came without Box but with papers.
