Skyfall Levi's Menlo Large?

Hi, does anyone have a Levi's Menlo in large as seen in Skyfall that they are willing to part with?
I am a usually a medium but due to being 6'4" my arms are too long for most medium jackets so I need a large for the arm length :))
Thanks,
PaleKing.

Have you tried this jacket on? I feel like the sleeves are pretty long on it.

No, but I'm about a 26" sleeve with jackets, but in a medium the sleeves seem to be described as only 25-25.5"

I own a large, and my sense is that if you're normally a medium, you're going to find the shoulders VERY wide, like hanging down your biceps. If at all possible, you need to try before you buy.

This jacket runs large and I had to size down from my usual XL to a L

If your usually a Medium and going for a Menlo Large in real terms your kind of sizing up / going for a XL and jumping 2 sizes up (just my opinion)

I got an XS (my usual size) and could have sized down if they made a size smaller :#. However, the jacket length is short and the waist is almost too small! It's an odd jacket to get right, but I would also recommend not going a size up. The sleeve length on mine falls slightly below my wrist. Not sure where you like you sleeves, but I could have done with a little shorter sleeves. I find the arm holes to be large as well, so sizing up may result in a bulky look through the arms.

    Thanks for the responses guys
The most recent jacket i got was the JV suede racer, I got an XL for the sleeve length and had it taken down to a medium. The result was perfect as I do have quite broad shoulders, it's just other than shoulders and sleeves where XL jackets tend to billow out.
Can any of you compare the JV suede racer and Levi's Menlo in terms of true to size fit and sleeve length?

    Hello PaleKing,
i had the JV size small and have the Menlo both the original run and the re-run with the red-ish lining in S.
The Menlo is indeed very big compared to the JV, the arms on both versions of the Menlo are very long (search the forum for "gorilla arms" :P )
I guess the arms of the Menlo are ~2 cm shorter than the JV ones and i would also recommend not to size up, most people here sized down.

    Hi PPK,
This may be a stupid question but as the general consensus seems to be that I shouldn't size up from a medium then I'll probably just get a medium, but I'm worried about the sleeve length. So if worst comes to worst and the sleeves are too short, is there much leather on the inside of the cuff to be able to lengthen the sleeves, even if only by a little?

Yes, i think in your case a medium would be the best solution if you cant try it on befor buying it.
I checked the inside of the arms/shoulder connection which is coverd by nylon lining, but i can feel there is almost no spare leather beneath. So no chance to lengthen the arms :(

But to give you a impression of both jackets in terms of the arm length i searched for some pics since i cant take some real photos.
They give a good representation of how they fit on me (not so broad shoulders)

JV in S was like this:

My Menlo in S fits like this:

yeah agree My menlo jacket in size L was too baggy and had to be tailored to a M size.
Fits pretty much spot on but the sleeves are a tag long but L was all I could get.
    Personally I would try a M

Hi mate , they are 25 and a quarter and have been tailored , if they were 25 i reckon it would be spot on for me but the tailor said he couldn't really go back anymore once it was done.
    cheers

I can add to this I have really long arms and never need a suit arm length shortened if anything some suits I could not wear as the sleeves were to short and need an arm about 26/26.5 and the Levi's menlo from the original run is long on me I am a 41 chest and have it in both small and medium and can still fit the small although my recent expanding waist would make the waist tight there at present. Like most of my stuff I have only tried them on and never actually worn either the same with most of my bond stuff for some reason.

Wow, first post and I was actually going to post a topic with the same question!

I also am a 26 inch arm and over 6'2"

Nothing off the rack ever fits properly so everything needs to be custom or tall...

Sounds like go for the M if I can find one.
