So firstly seasons greetings to you all, I thought it might be fun to do a 2016 annual review, with special mentions going to members for.... Well any reason really and also threads of special significance. All lighthearted of course and in the spirit of festive warmheartedness.
Firstly I'd like to nominate a couple :
Most expensive thread of the year: the Tom Ford Harrington limited re-run, that thread is running at over £60 k so far.
Most argumentative member: this one is quite tight but for my money it has to go to Higgins God love him.
Most prolific poster: can anyone beat Thunderpussy? who's even handed and light hearted posts are just so
...unique
Hardest working member: with the ever diligent mods aside I think canoe2 needs a mention here, he's started the epic budget bond resource thread, built and run the brilliant iconic alternatives site, which goes from strength to strength and even ran a fantastic first anniversary competition for the site.
Number 24 for just being so political and Norwegian.
So how about, quickest member to be banned? Most helpful member? Etc etc

It was either that.....or the priesthood

Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!
Thank-you to the MODs for their tireless work in keep us undercontrol, our tempers in check
and kicking out the trolls {[] Thank you to all the very many members of AJB with a sense of
Humour, I always get a laugh or two from some excellent posts. -{ Thanks for putting up with
My endless posting. Even the arguments on some of the off topic threads have been entertaining,
And enlightening,
It is a shame given how we are spread all over the planet, that few of us will ever meet face to face. As
An AJB Christmas party would be something to behold.
I do what I do best ;%

Bummer - I wanted to be stoopidest member although there is still time. Smallest member - being Jamaican I over qualify ( I wish) -{
Anyone found love on the forum this year? Who's had the biggest fall out with another member?
It's been a very eventful year, what with brexit and the poor Americans having to decide between a morally bankrupt lady with bad email security and a morally bankrupt lady fiddler with bad hair for their next president, we debated Daniel Craig slashing his wrists, Daniel Craig leaving the bond role, Daniel Craig talking to an American, Daniel Craig back in the role ( he never left) and Daniel Craig buys a new t shirt. We also had a couple of stray threads with pictures of nubile young people having sex, if any of you remember what that looks like? These threads caught the mods completely off guard and stayed live for a good while, Im pretty sure someone will have Screenshots if not Sir M had a good long look before he decided they should be removed so could Im sure describe the images to anyone interested.
What else went on this year?
He made the mistake ignoring Mrs. Higgins - I am sure that he won't do that mistake again
The AJB meetup in London was one of the highlights - seeing some new faces and some familiar people that I have only met over the net.
Dinner at Rules sitting at "THE" table together with Sruzgar was another highlight.
Other than that my detest for Asp9mm grew a lot - so it was a good year for me - well not for him. Just look at him and you know.
It was good to see Microjiff back and Danjaq_off surviving a heartattack and coming back to here occasionally.
Hope to see more props and replica and watches in the mem&coll section and less clothing though.
Merry Christmas to you all and hope that 2017 brings lots of news on Bond 25 and the shooting.

You forgot 'Cockwomble Member of the Year' -{
The winners will get a smalahove in the mail for free
Who are your nominees in these categories 24?
I'd also like to nominate James Brosnan for most enthusiastic posts, his excitement and delight are a marvel to behold.
And what about best mod? I suppose that depends on which one mods the topics your most involved with??
Best original bond thread of 2016?
I'm nominating Barbel for best musical tip, I have had hours and hours of pleasure from the John Barry collection he told us about -{
And Sir Miles needs a mention for the support he gave to the bond pin badges I did ( still available ) which gave me some confidence to continue the project.
Haven't seen any of them this year!
Maybe they all moved to some tax haven like Cayman and enjoying a cool drink next to a curvy blonde? :v
Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!
Could I challenge Higgins for "most German"? Probably not.
"- That is something to be afraid of."
"- That is something to be afraid of."
There was the evening all the mods seemed to take a night off and we got an eyeful of porn for several hours!!
That was a memorable thread ) )
Christ - im glad the Mrs was not about when I opened that )
Ah, that's why I don't see them at all
Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!
Happy days!
Pretty sure that Asp9mm discovered the opposite sex that way back then
Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!
She then thought it was Sunday.
Sil Man needs another mention for his great work in the literary section of this forum, an area I find myself more and more fascinated in.
-Casino Royale, Ian Fleming
