London is almost essential as a location, it's Italy that needs resting as a location, Bond should maybe visit Canada at some point, Croatia has legs. I'd also like to see him in France purely as I love the opening chapters of casino royale book, the carribean is always welcome.

It's only my opinion. But M should only be seen in a London setting, obviously they don't have to actually shoot in London but London should feature as that's where M's office is.

I actually meant London as a Location within the story as opposed to actually filming there, such as M being in his office. Im not interested in London itself being heavily featured, M's famous office office is I'm sure a set at pinewood. The Icelandic location company Truenorth are showing them around and EON are interested in the south west coast. Unfortunately Truenorth fears Norway will lose out again because of our moronic system for "supporting" foreign film productions in our country. The tax cuts are only given for two movies each year (I'm not joking) and they have to apply for those cuts before a spesific date (still not joking). Last year Downsizing and The Snowman got the tax cuts. This year it's Mission Impossible 6 and Transformers will shoot. I get the impression Norwegian authorities just want foreign movie productions to stop bothering them and just go away. X-(
But on the GoT line, the mayor of dubrovnik says the fans visiting are destroying the atmosphere of the old town and is putting in measures to curtail the amount of tourists visiting. Also I can well see the local authority in Scotland closing that road in Scotland. Glen Evie is it?
Tourism to Norway has increased quite a bit recently. Some places like the Geiranger fjord are perhaps at the maximum how how many tourists they can welcome. International movie productions draw more tourists, perhaps especially Bond.
But I think we can handle more tourists if we sort of spread them more around.
Anyway, I think Norway should get the same tax insentives for movie productions as Iceland, Ireland and other countries where the authorities don't see movie productions as a pest.
I wonder how that mayor will feel when the series stops .......... Along with the tourists visiting

Well, mayors don't have a say on tax breaks for movie companies, that's the Departement of Culture.
Too many tourists can be a problem for local communities. I worked with a woman who lives in a cruise ship port, and she is really tired of looking straight into the side of a ship outside her kitchen window for 5-6 months each year. Like I said, tourism should be spread around more. Until a few years ago tourist busses often stopped by our mail box, but after a new road was buildt I hardly see any of them here. There are lot of places like this where tourists can go instead of the Geiranger fjord.
Dubrovnik is also a cruise ship port, I think the worry is that the sheer amount of tourists at the moment make the atmosphere unappealing to culture vultures and some tourists, who will go elsewhere and when the GoT fans stop ( which they will) Dubrovnik will then lose business. On a similar vein this is happening in my local town, stag and hen parties have chased off regular clients and many tourists so some bars and cheap hotels have made some money but many restaurants, wine bars attractions, shops and decent hotels seen business plummet, certainly my wife and I avoid York at weekends, as do many people I know, it's just unpleasant unless your out with the boys getting on the beer. So just from my household we probably spend a few thousand pounds a year elsewhere.

The article claims Bond25 will cost roughly 250 million US Dollars. I'm not sure if a location scouting company is such a good source on this or if the figure is realistic.
I would also like to see Bond in Bukhara in Uzbekistan . It's an ancient city and an UNESCO site, and I think it's time EON took more chances with locations.
