Finally snagged a Skyfall peacoat

Ordered a medium from Daniel this morning. I hope it arrives by New Year's Eve but I'm not holding my breath.

I ordered a large this morning. I'm hoping the fit is right, since I wear a medium in the Harrington and it's a little snug if moving my shoulders around. I'd want to layer a bit with it too and I have a muscular build. Thank goodness we have this forum for any trading :))

Shipping to the States was almost a deal breaker, but I've waited two years for this and I'm not waiting any longer. It will just be more expensive next year and the year after, and so on.

I'm hearing you... Unfortunately with the weight of them there isn't much I can do about it. In a box these come in just under 2kg or about 4lbs. (the larges and under do) I always just weigh the larges to set the price, the XL and XXL are a hair over 2kg boxed, but I'm happy to absorb the difference.

Shipping to the Scandinavian parts of Europe is daylight robbery on these, but I have capped that too... All that being said, I couldn't agree more, it's still expensive for you guys :( All I can say is thanks, to you fine gentlemen for coming through and trusting in what I have to offer, I'm sure when you receive this one you won't be disappointed.

I'm not blaming you. You have no control over shipping rates and I don't expect you or anyone else to have to pay out of profit for shipping. You have to make a living.

I'm quite certain I'll be very pleased with the peacoat.

Thanks for making the slight corrections to the pattern. Attention to detail is everything in a reproduction. I understand the pockets are somewhat deeper. I hope the PPK will fit comfortably for carry. I often carry in an outer coat pocket during colder weather because access to a belt holster is often near impossible while being bundled up in winter gear. A shoulder holster will not likely work with this coat as trim as it is, and I have some slight shoulder problems as well.

At any rate, a shoulder rig or a belt holster will break up the sleek lines of the coat when buttoned.
