Has anyone ever identified the venice chinos?

I know it's a long shot. Here's a frame of reference:

when I read the title I thought it was for the other unidentified Venice pants worn with the unidentified long sleeve polo, never even thought about these yacht pants before.

i thought the same! I guess CR probably has the most unidentified items, 2 x Venice Trousers, Venice Polo, sweater from 2nd kill, and lots of 'bespoke' pieces such as Madagascar shirt and PTS suit. Im still hunting for Mollaka's backpack...

Never positively Id'd these but I've always liked the idea of them being Sunspel items, they still do very similar chinos.

CR really just has the most items of any Bond film. It's the only Bond film where I can't remember all of the outfits, though that's partially because after watching it 3 times I can't take it anymore.

The wale on that D&G sweater looks too big. And I don't think any Bond would wear something pre-distressed.

I noticed that later actually that it's a pre-distressed sweater on eBay. I agree, Bond wouldn't wear something like this (except that Menlo jacket of course).

Good point, I didn't think about the Menlo {[]

As canoe 2 days the whale does look too big, also in the scene where he and vesper get "together" on the hospital bed the sweater looks to have a different cut and fit to the d&g one on eBay, though it could have been altered I suppose?
And just quickly on the distressed menlo, let's not forget bond was in a different situation, his watch was gone and he was no longer shaving so I always take the distressed clothes as a visual to his demeanour and circumstance. Ordinarily I don't think bond would shop for that style of clothing.

Also 'enjoying Death' really was bond on a budget, in fact bond on the poverty line...shopping at Zara for his shirt and shoes, and top man for his trousers, and his only weapon was a cheap Spanish knife.

Although this is hearsay, when I went to Brunello Cucinelli earlier this year the sales assistant stated that they had supplied a number of clothes for all of Craig's films. They specifically mentioned in Casino Royale they provided the cardigan and chinos, and it should also be noted that the belt that DC wears in CR when chasing Vesper across St Mark's Square is very similar to the BC belt in Spectre.

I guess without any official confirmation we are none the wiser as to which company actually provided the chinos
    For England James?

Not an impossible notion, although i don't think there is anything that links DC to BC in that era, and he does seem to support the key brands in his private life.

That said, this may have been his 'introduction' to BC - i guess we will never 100% be sure unless we can find a 2005/2006 look book and see the pieces for themselves.

If that is the case how come we only first heard about BC and Bond when he wore them in SP? and its well established that DC uses brands he likes from his personal life to use for Bond, but I think CR was a bit different as he didn't have that creative freedom yet as evident from using alot of Brosnan's brands.

I agree with you to some degree WaltherP99, but as this is all merely speculation and hearsay, as i mentioned above, confirming your point about not having creative freedom, what if CR was DC's first introduction to BC, and he started wearing their clothing after that?

Personally speaking, as we don't know, and probably will never know, nothing is off the table for me.

At the time of CR and QOS, Craig dressed a lot differently than he does now. I don't feel like his clothes in CR had any impact on the way he dresses now. He wore different brands then and was much better-dressed in those days.

Is there evidence of him wearing BC around that time? the earliest I remember seeing him in BC was during Cowboys and Aliens in 2010/2011.
