Bicester Village and Northampton shoe factory stores

I just about pulled the trigger and bought a pair of Crockett and Jones a couple of days ago, but something was twigging in the back of my mind about sales (the stockist here is Toronto is simply running a "no tax" event). After digging around the interwebs I can't see anything about regular sales, which I would expect for a brand like C&J. However, I did read about the Northampton outlet store, as well as some other brands having outlets at Bicester Village (such as N Peal and Church's).
Is shopping in person the only way to purchase from these stores? With Allen Edmonds Shoebank, you have to call the individual stores but can order over the phone with your credit card. Any way of doing this that anyone is aware of?
For those of you who have been, how was the selection? I had expected that anything tied to Bond wouldn't go on sale (judging by the N Peal website) but I've read of people buying Tetburys in Northampton.

I believe you can reserve but they do not post out now...
I have a pair of Alex and Camberleys from the shop. Sub stamped into sole, but perfect and at 30% of retail price.
1. CR. 2. TSWLM. 3. LTK. 4. GF. 5. SF.
They also have a summer and a winter sale each year where they sell seconds and end of lines at pretty good prices. Trouble is every shop has different stock to sell so you have to ring around if there is a model you are after.
I'm heading to the C&J factory shop in a week or so - will see what they have.
