My 3D twin - a collectors dream

Has anyone tried this before :

http://my3dtwin.com

It's basically a 3D printing shop in London that takes a photo of you and then 'prints' that photo into a little statue. Given some of the attention to every facet of a particular outfit on here, I'm sure someone must have tried it ? Imagine having it done holding a replica golden gun. The Skyfall Lodge outfit with rifle would be amazing too.

It's a fun idea, especially if you have a friend to be Blofeld and etc. and get two sets. How much is one sculpt?

Hi, we're basically doing something similar with our Wamungo BeamBox http://www.wamungo.com/3D-Printing-News/The-BeamBox---New-Full-Body-3D-Scanner-562b449789702a0f6c91e8f1 here in Munich.
If someone is located near Munich and has an idea it would be nice to set up a Bond project with 3D scanning.
This for example is me in the Menlo :-)

The one in London is £150 per person. So not cheap, but I'd expect that to come down as time progresses and popularity gains.

Love the Menlo figure ! Is that a black Menlo then ? Would like one of those.

Thanks, CRB. No, it's the brown one like in Skyfall.
On the actual print it looks quite realistic in terms of color, but the technique (ZPrinter) of course has limits.
