I spotted this on Chrono24 while looking for a Seamaster and I found this piece. http://www.chrono24.com/omega/desmond-llewelyns-seamaster--id3784961.htm . The picture looks like as if it's from The World Is Not Enough but that was probably the only available image with Llewellyn wearing the piece. 25.7.96 is engraved on the back. I remember that Sean Bean was given the one he used in GoldenEye and that 006 is engraved at the back of it, this seems to be a similar case. Seeing how that his name is associated to this piece it must be sold by a family member. The lume's condition indicates that it had been stored for a long time causing some (pre-mature?) patina on the dial. Other than that it appears to be in optimal condition and if anyone knows anything more about a Llewellyn-Omega connection, I'd be fascinated to know. Cheers! -{

I think it was just one given to him as a gift
Perhaps but no timepiece of any description appears on screen or at least I can't spot one, and the listing clearly states:
The actual Omega Seamaster worn by Desmond Llewelyn as "Q" in Tomorrow Never Dies
I remember this… I saw the same listing by someone calling themselves ‘The Watch Guru’. I half fancied it back then and made some enquiries with the seller.
Like you, I couldn’t see the watch on his wrist in the movie and the listing said it had been worn on set. I outlined my concerns and asked what evidence or other provenance the seller could give.
Best he could do was to tell me he was trustworthy and that he was reaching out to the Omega museum. I told him I’d have it if he could offer me some evidence that put the doubt to rest.
There was then radio silence. Could be many explanations for his silence of course - perhaps he found a less requiring buyer, perhaps he decided to keep it (who could blame him?), perhaps the provenance didn’t exist.
It seemed reasonably convincing that it had been worn by Desmond or at least owned by him - there was engraving to that effect on the case back.
My issue with the listing, on reflections, was that it said it had been worn on set and that sounded like a load of twaddle to me. I hope nobody spent good money on it without getting something to prove that statement.
