    If I am not mistaken he wears it also on the balcony of the hotel in Montenegro, while with Mathis watches the discovery of the villains in a car boot, and at the end of the moovie in venice, while at the phone with M

    Those two scenes were in Casino Royale, not QOS. He did not wear any TF in CR

    Gents,

    I have to say... thanks. {[]

    Although, this one has been less design intensive for me than other items we've done, I have stressed a bit over this project, which is why I hadn't announced it sooner. Now I have 'proof of life' in the sample, I know it can be done, I do believe we can offer a great alternative. I can now confirm the changes I wish to make to the sample can be accommodated, so I'm one happy Bond fan at the moment... My other shawl cardigans will be getting a rest this winter ;)

    This is completely awesome Dan! You should do them in multiple colors also, like Navy, Grey, and White. I bet many people would purchase them. -{

    Also, not trying to push, have you considered doing a CR Armani Rep? I know Jared was working on one a while back.

    Hey Guys,

    A quick update on this one... The initial sample was very good, make no mistake, very impressed with what my guys produced. I do have the original in this case and with that in mind I did scrutinise the sample very closely. I found eight changes I'd like to make to the sample, to make it as close as possible, just small things, but eight changes nonetheless. Consequently, we've decided to produce a second sample. This will add a few weeks to the delivery of the final production, however I'm sure nobody here would disagree that it's worth doing to make sure we've got it right. Once we've produced the second sample and I can see all of the changes I've requested that will give me a bit more confidence to invest a bit more in this production and hopefully increase the order quantity slightly. This one will be expensive to produce, so personally I'm more comfortable going with the second sample, before I outlay for production. The net result is... the project will take a few weeks longer, but be all the more accurate.

    Right then! The cardigan... good news on the second sample, the changes I wanted have been made and it's looking very nice, VERY nice! ;) I must apologise for the delayed information, I almost forgot to update this thread... I spent a lot of time last week updating the ROYALE facebook page, of course it's all just 'window dressing' but super pleased with the end result, do pop over and take a peak. https://www.facebook.com/royalefilmwear

    Now, I posted this image on facebook a couple of days ago, but here it is... I can see all the changes I asked for, so I'm a bit excited!! I will be comparing again with the original as soon as I receive it and may request further changes if needed, but this is a vast improvement on an already very good sample. As a personal style favourite of mine, I can't wait to have my own. :007)

    Thanks Jordan,

    I'm so happy with how it's looking, I wasn't convinced we could pull it off at first with the seamless transition of stitching on the shoulder in particular, but I'm eagerly awaiting the second sample now and I know it'll be a winner, I'll update everyone again once the second sample is received.

    Good news gents...

    I've received the second sample and wow, what an improvement on what was already a very good initial sample. There's been about half a dozen small changes, including increased weight of wool, reduced neck size, increased shawl collar width, higher quality buttons among other small improvements. Still not perfect, but awfully close, I'm putting together some detailed comments for further small tweaks before we go to production, which should be in about a week. This sample is about 1 size too big for me, but I could certainly get way with wearing it out and about. I won't say too much about sizing at this stage, only that I'm hoping to make it consistent with the recent jackets, with consideration of the fit we all want. Fortunately, David Zaritsky and I have decided it would be best to do a review of this prior to releasing it for sale. I think David's (The Bond Experience) review will help everyone with sizing immensely, prior to it being released. The numbers on this one will be a bit more limited, due to the cost of production.

    Funny I was wearing my TF to dinner tonight so was able to do a close comparison. It does look very close from here! Detail looks great compared to the mirage of lookalikes I have bought over the years!

    Original is slim fitting which I kind of like so I guess downsize required to get same with your master piece - have to wait and see DZ's review to make that call.

    Cheers :007)

    Thanks for the feedback gents!!! I will have them by the end of May and I'[ll express one or two cardigans to David for review and sizing comments... They will be available almost immediately afterward, hopefully the first week of June (I was hoping a little sooner, but as mentioned good things take time!!) I'll link Davids review in my notification email for sizing reference.
