I don't think the SF ties will be a possibility, or there would be more than a few pissed off people who bought the last set on the basis there would be no more. TF won't go back on that.

What was so special about the material used for the SF ties compared to QOS?

If this project happens, TF would need to get the QOS fabric remade anyway, so throwing a few SF ties in the mix wouldn't change anything, fabric would need to be produced from scratch either way.

Also, if faced with a large number of people with their wallets out, I'm not sure TF would have the integrity to say no based on the fact that they would be going back on their word to not produce more in those patterns

The last tie run required a minimum of 40 people before TF would consider remaking the material!

Correct me if wrong but around 3.5 inches. Away at mo so cant measure
Would not sit well with slim / skinny fit suits with slim lapels, tho Matt is the expert?

A bit wider actually. The QoS ties measure 9.5cm, or roughly 3.75". The Skyfall ties were the skinniest at 7cm, and the Spectre ties were right in the middle at 8cm (although the Rome tie was slightly wider at 9cm IIRC).

At this stage I'm definitely focused on the Tri-Colour if that comes to fruition. Probably my favourite (usable) tie of all of them. I suppose the Spectre Morocco tie isn't going to get made again?

The short answer is no. But there was every attempt to get a run of each of the five ties made - valiant attempts, I should say. That was back in 2010. But all the screen-accurate ties from QoS were commercially available, unlike many of the Skyfall ties.
