After driving a db5 on Monday I was privileged enough to see the design brief and dealers video of the am rb project (now officially named Valkyrie ibelieve)... Usual hypercar blurb im afraid, though looks amazing, not much use for a family trip to south of France :))

What do you think about the David Brown car?
    It costs about EUR500k...

Not a big fan of the hypercar design. I like Ferrari's when it comes to that type of car. The DB11 looks fantastic. The David Brown DB5 is bad ass! This is the first I'm hearing of it. Very cool, but can't you buy a real DB5 for that price?

    DB5 models trade now between USD700,000 and 1,000,000+ :#

The David Brown Speedster does not have the elegance of the DB5, it looks to bulky and overweight. The headlights look wrong too.
In 1996 you could buy a DB5 for £30k if only I had lol now a restored one for sale through Aston Martin is about £900k

Too bad I didn't buy one in 1995...

£30K! Well, that would have been one hell of a return on investment. That David Brown car seems seriously over priced for an homage piece. Would rather fork out twice as much for a real one. At $100K, it might have been a worthy alternative. A frugal option, if you will :))

I bet it handles a hell of a lot better though. An acquaintance of mine has a frame off restored DB4 and its a turd. He also has a 2016 Ford GT that is mind blowing.

Not sure I would invest so much in a replica.
I would prefer by far owning the DB6!

I love the 5 but to be honest, parked there next to the 6 there was no comparison, apart from it being Bonds wheels

Agree...The DB5 is much more desirable than the DB6...The rear makes all the difference.
