Hello! I am new here and just signed up. Question... does any one have or know of any one wanting to sell a pair of 7s in Mercer 34 waist as used in QofS? I have scoured the web for the last 3 years... short of calling 7 management some where in LA and asking them to remake these I am coming up dry.

Your help would be most welcome!

Sadly, 7FAM have discontinued the Mercer wash. There was a period after this Straight Leg (called "Standard") release where they released a Skinny Fit version (I think it was called "Slimmy"), but then nothing since. It's too bad because I like the wash, but I'm not a fan of the straight leg fit anymore, especially since slim fit has been the style for some time now.

Nice pictures! It's an interesting one, as even though I can accept 7 have discontinued it, there is nothing I can find that has the same 'look' in the colour... for blue jeans, that mercer is quite unique

I also find the same with the Dragon Tattoo/DC's S&S Ralston's in dark worn, nothing just quite the same.

But regarding the 7FAM, I agree with Craig, while the Mercer is a fantastic wash, it's no longer 08, so I find the straight fit is just not the best look, but to each his own

Craig, thanks for the pictures. Its the wash that is unique. And when I look again at the cut DC wore in Quantum, they almost look boot cut. I am a traditionalist at heart and have gone through God knows how many jeans by 7, Citizens, Levi's etc. They all shrink over time.
I just purchased a pair of TF jeans in straight cut blue purely for the quality of Denim used (Japanese hand woven) the length and the build. At over $700 it was a leap, but I would rather have 3 pairs of top jeans rather than a bunch of jeans that are below pare. My biggest issue is length. I have a 34 inside leg and over the years, manufactures in order to save money are reducing the legnths more and more. So finding a 34+ inside leg has become Mission almost impossible.

You know what we could do... petition 7 to make another run. If we get enough guys together we could start a project

I recently sold a pair of 34 Mercers (straight fit) but didnt have the matching stitch, they had standard orange stitch
Still have a pair (not to sell im afraid)
But go 1 size down as a large fit imo

I have a couple of pairs of Mercer Jeans couple of size 33 and a couple of 32 stocked up when they were stopping the colour

Click on that and it'll take you to your private messages. There you'll find my message to you with the link the eBay auction I mentioned. Take a look at them. Based off the details in the pics, I'm 90% certain they're the alt version of the Standard in Mercer. The SA pair are nearly impossible to find (even when they were ID'd years ago) - the only differences between the SA pair and this pair are that the SA pair had a dark blue button at the waist and a dual belt loop at the center back. Otherwise, these are exact to the screen-accurate pair.
