Hello guys,
These are a greatly loved yet selectively worn pair of C&J Alex shoes that recently had grips attached to the soles (I found them quite 'slidey' on pavements and tiled floors; I had my C&J Skyes' fitted with grip soles for the same reason).
They are in very good condition and I have since used high quality polishing and leather care products from theshoesnob.com to keep them as pristine as possible however, you will notice in my photos that there is a slight crack to each shoe (mirrored on both shoes on the outside face if-that-makes-sense where there's been legacy creases in the leather).
Apparently you can use bees wax that can fill these miniature cracks however, I'm not entirely sure how exactly to go about that in a 'safe' manner...
For info, I'm normally a U.K. size 9 however, with Crockett & Jones I've always been half-a-size smaller (i.e. A uk size 8.5). I own both the black and brown suede Moltons as well as the Antique dark brown Tetburys and in the past have had the Islays, Skye III's and black Tetburys...all in a size 8.5.
These C&J Alex shoes are sold as seen; unfortunately with no box or shoe bags (they will be carefully wrapped in tissue paper packaging).
NB: the shoe trees you can see in my photos are not included (although they have been stored with shoe trees to maintain their shape and to wick away any moisture - highly recommended)
These are currently £415.00 to buy new from C&J, my price £90
Price includes free UK delivery.
Please PM if interested; PayPal only and buyer covers fees.
Thanks guys,
Gary -{
