One & Only Chips

Seeing several replicas of these on ebay and thinking of scooping some up. If anyone has some could you comment on the quality of these? I'm an avid casino chip collector as well so these would serve dual purpose.

Also can anyone confirm the accurate color of the $500 chip? On screen it appears turquoise but ones Ive seen listed for sale tend to look a standard green.

They're off in colour and detail. Way too much money for something with only a passing resemblance.

Asp9mm is a total expert on these things, and we trust him, but I have a couple of comments, if I may. I see several listings on eBay--I know you referenced the green one.

The black and green chips now on eBay were made by an AJB member. They are on eBay being resold by someone else. They look terrific in person. But the eBay photos are poor in quality. In person, they look lovely. The shine from the label and etc. is all but nonexistent.

Yes the color on the green is different, and matches what we see on the video of the film, rather than the actual Eon-commissioned chips used on screen, which are turquoise, but it's all a nice bit of work.

Perhaps you can bargain down the sellers. If I had spare examples, I would trade them with you--and the maker of these replicas is fresh out also, I think--but Bond casino gear is my number one collecting passion and I have a LOT of James Bond casino items. I mean A LOT A LOT. Send me a PM? Hopefully we can fill gaps in one another's Bond casino collections.

Yes, they look far more like the picture posted by Abel. The nice thing is he can get you multiple sets--something that only happened once for collectors of the real thing at Christie's, where they went for many thousands of pounds!
