An EON Produced WARHEAD Movie ?

I remember reading bout the Kevin McClory /Len Deighton co-written ideas for Warhead, taking place largely in New York with nuclear bombs in the sewers, the Statue of Liberty under siege, British subs and ships going missing in the Bermuda Triangle, with Blofeld and SPECTRE at the centre. Do you think this would be a good idea for EON/Danjaq to make now that they have the rights to utilize Blofeld/Spectre etc? If it is Daniel Craig's last movie itd be good for him to bow out with a big fun spectacle like this.

It involved mechanical sharks in the sewers. No thanks. It was awful back in the cheese era of Bond, it would be terrible now.

So, Thunderball and a touch of Skyfall with an action-packed, half an hour worth of mechanical shark fight in the sewers ) .
One thing is sure, he won't be smelling like a tart's handkerchief by the time they are through.

so maybe theyre not "mechanical sharks", theyre subterranean amphibious drones, able to deliver a nuclear device into the bowels (heh) of a Manhattan skyscraper by navigating the city's underground sewer infrastructure
municipalities actually use robot cameras in such a way for asset management, these would just travel a bit further and have an additional gadget attached
thatd be uptodate, plausible, tech ripped out of the headlines in fact and simply extrapolated into the very-near-future ... which I think was always the appeal of Bond's version of sci-fi ever since Dr No was diverting those testrockets
and it could alternately be titled "007 in New York"
