Back in the US?

It's been a long time since a Bond movie has taken place squarely in the US. Casino Royale had a very the plane scene in Miami, but the fact that it is Miami means nothing for the scene the way Kentucky, Louisiana, Vegas and San Fransisco meant for for Goldfinger, Diamonds are Forever, Live and Let Die and A View to a Kill.
But I would certainly like to see a modern Bond movie in the US as it's playground. Thoughts?
Besides the ones I mentioned, are there any others that have large parts in the US?

Exactly. I want Bond movies to take me on a journey in stunning locations that I haven't seen, or seen a lot of, in films before. While I don't doubt that EON can produce a top notch Bond film set in countries that have already been frequently used in the series (Italy, contiguous US, Austria and of course England), Skyfall was an example of that, there are plenty of other fantastic locations around the world to utilise. A snow scene, instead of Austria or Switzerland, how about Canada or Alaska? An island scene, instead of the Caribbean how about a pacific island? Foreign big city, try Cape Town, Vancouver or Sydney?
To me there are some things that I want to see each Bond do. A sort of mental checklist
Each actor has shaved on screen, maybe except Lazenby and Dalton.
Each Bond has skied, except Craig, unless he does so in Spectre. And video games don't count.
Except Lazenby and Craig, again unless he does in Spectre, each has done what I call a water-logged movie (meaning large water segments): TWINE, Thunderball, The Spy Who Loved Me, For Your Eyes Only and License to Kill.
Lastly. each has had a movie take place in US as a large part of the film; Goldfinger, Diamonds are Forever, Live and Let Die and A View to a Kill.

CR is pretty water logged, bond swimming in the sea, bond on a boat, bond in a sinking house in Venice, qos also had a major scene with the boat chase.
When did Dalton ski? And when was Brosnan in the US? Craig didn't ski in Spectre mores the pity
Connery hasn't skied - the closest he's ever come to snow are the Geneva scenes in GF. Neither has Dalton, really, unless you count the cello case (which isn't Bond skiing.
I think the film's have pretty much covered every different sort of place in the US; the south (LALD), big cities (LALD, AVTAK); and the touristy side (DAF). And the US locations in DAF and LALD are used very effectively, as they can only take place there - the Miami scene in CR can take place at any airport in any city, the MR scenes can take place anywhere (hell, the only major US location used is a French chateau and the construction facilities). The USA isn't really a romantic or beautiful place you'd expect a suave, British spy to be - the best locations used in the films are, like tropical islands or places in Europe.

Now that sounds like a film I would love to watch!
Well, I wasn't 100% on Connery as I have only seen Goldfinger and Diamonds Are Forever all the way through more than once. Let's rephrase All Bond's skiing to snow/ice chases, because Dalton on the cello case was one of the ones I was thinking of along with this. Also I haven't seen Spectre yet so I didn't know if they had one in there or not.
Have all Bonds smoked on screen? I know Connery has twice that I know of in Dr. No and in Goldfinger after he plants the C4 in pre-title sequnce. Moore in Live and Let Die, Dalton in License to Kill and Brosnan in Die Another Day.
