GoldenEye 64 Watch

I didn't know if I had to put this topic in de games or clothes topic, so please correct me if I'm wrong.

A lot of Bondgamers will know the famous GoldenEye 64 watch. Everytime I saw this watch I was a bit sceptical. As a Dutch I'm not very known with Ebay or Amazon, although I ordered some great Filming 007 books thee. But a book is a very different story than a watch, watches can have very bad quality and a Bond book is a Bond book, I've never doubt that there would be any replicas of Filming 007.

In short, I've never ordered a GoldenEye 64 watch, until today. This vlogger seemed very trust worthy and the comments on the video were very positive. Someone even commented ''Still don't got it'', and later later replied that he did got the watch. He just had to wait.

So today I ordered a $7,- G64 watch with the coupon CLOCKWATCHES. It claims to have an error but it worked fine when I ordered it.
I'll keep you updated, there's more information in the YouTube description of the video.

Well, it's a GoldenEye 64 watch that was created inspired by the one in-game. The one in the game is based on the Omega Seamaster 300 Professional Diver, worn by Pierce in the film (peculiarly, the automatic version was used in the game which hadn't yet been released and Pierce wore the Quartz variant in the movie).

I think that I'm familiar with the watch you're talking about and it's not a very accurate copy. It's basically a Quartz watch with a case resembling the Rolex Explorer's one and the dial resembling the pause menu of the 64 game's watch.
Your best bet to anyone wanting to realistically achieve the look would be to buy the Moto 360 and use the Agent face found on the Android Play Store.

Interesting that you're not familiar with eBay and Amazon. Forgive me for saying this, but I come from Greece and I've ordered most of my electronics/books etc. from there. What I'm trying to say is that being Dutch isn't a good excuse.

There's a Dutch version called ''Marktplaats'' (translates to Market place). There is just no need for me to use it that often, the times I did use Amazon it always went well. Got my SPECTRE bulldog and some Bond books from Amazon, shipping went perfectly.

But on topic: As it was only a $7,- copy, I don't really care if it's a 100% accurate. It's mostly known for it's faceplate, so that's were I'm going for. Your Moto 360 tip combined with a copy as screen from the Android store is really smart. I'll certainly think about that in the future, but as I'm only a 18 year old student $7 or €250 is quite a different for now ;)
