Casino Royale Suppressor

Hi everyone, i've recently acquired an airsoft p99 with a threaded barrel and am wondering if anyone knows roughly what size suppressor was used in the movie, so I can buy a similar sized one. To me it looks quite stubby around 35mm x 110mm but not sure.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

    I think that this would be better suited for the "James Bond Memorabilia" portion of the site.
    Coincidentally, I was asking a very similar question.

    That silencer in CR is a prop, 35mm sounds about right, 110mm sounds short but then it is short in the film.

    Yes, that bugged me when I first saw Casino Royale. What's wrong with having a bigger suppressor for a service-sized pistol?
    It would give off a FRWL, Walther LP53 vibe. The TWINE suppressor was better, but not by much.

    I think aesthetically it looks nice with the shorter suppressor, plus it was handy that it could fit in the envelope ;)

    Obvious innuendo is obvious ;). I worked out a solution to his problem which is that he's gonna need a bigger envelope -{.

    ha ha @Dirty Punker :P

    I actually don't mind the shorter silencer that Q has delivered to Bond in CR.

    Many of the weapons used in Bond films are modified anyway :)

    Without going into technical specifics, the three silencers used on Casino Royale were based on the Umarex CP99 silencer. The screen silencers were bespoke units made on location in Prague. For continuity the silencers were utilised on the practical and stunt P99 pistols. None of the replicas have got the details right -{

    Thanks for the pics, where did you find the first picture? Ah I see, I did notice they had at least 2 suppressors, since the gap between the p99 and suppressor varied from the car scene in Montenegro and the stairwell fight. Was another used in the opening scene or Venice shootout too?
    I must say Kevin from Q-branch makes a good replica but I cant get in contact with him, his seem quite accurate wouldn't you say?

    The photo is the Aston Martin DBS screen gun & silencer. There were two different silencers fitted to the blank fire adapted firearms and a third design fitted to the PAK pistol however all were based on the design of the CP99 silencers which were not used! Yes the pre-titles sequence silencer, DBS silencer and stairwell fight silencer were all different units fitted on different weapons. The gap (adaptor) between the weapon's muzzle and silencer or lack of it depended on if the weapon had a floating (firearm) or fixed barrel (PAK) -{

    Thanks again, I am very impressed with your knowledge! I guess the only way I can really get the dimensions is by somehow using pictures of the p99 and suppressor and use ratios or something. Which website did you find the screen used gun and silencer picture from? I'm wondering if there are any better side on pictures. Thanks
