James Bond Merchandise that was considered....
The Bond Experience

This whole week on our Instagram we are posting exclusive pictures from James Shutt who has been kind enough to share these with us. Due to his design career in Film Promotional merchandise design he had the immense pleasure of spending a year working on the promo merchandise for Bond 24 (as it was at that time). He was working very closely with the marketing team at EON in London to produce a range of official product that were supplied to all the major brand partners for competitions and giveaways. Many of these items represent pieces that never were made but were considered.....more to come!
BTW, because it's YOU gents on AJB I am sharing a bunch of pictures at once rather than piece-mealing them out....please keep them on this site for now....danka!

I especially liked the Skyfall deer and laser pen. Would've probably bought both if they were made.
By the way, in the 007 bag, those are all places Bond has visited I presume.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the DB5 key-ring was released, wasn't it?
Also love the book ends though I think it would have been awesome if they had made a set with the stag as one end and the house as the other.
Yes, the DB5 keyring was released.
That would be cool
Thing is, it would just have been a stag on a box, then, with no emphatic Bond connection; a much tougher sell.
Trouble is, I don't think production stags would have looked much like that and if they had, they wouldn't have been cheap. So we would have had people complaining either they looked wrong or were too expensive.
I feel, in the end, the marketing team make the right decision in not pursuing these: the volumes wouldn't have warranted production.
