FRWL Capt Nash Tie

As I don't consider Ties, cufflinks, wallets, belts etc to be classed as clothing, more props I feel justified asking this question, although expecting incoming from the chief clothes horse
When bond examines "Nash's" attache case on the train, there is a military tie sitting on top. Now it looks to me to be Royal Air Force colours, but would have expected it to be a British Army regimental tie, given that we don't have Captains in the RAF. I cannot ID this tie given the crest placement.
The novel places Nash in the Royal Artillery, but this is def not a RA tie.
Has anybody ever got a good take on this tie? ?:)

The first is a standard Brigade of Guards tie (Red/blue alternate stripes on the angle), It could also be Adjutant General Corp, as that's similar, but more unlikely for an agent. It does seem to have a wider 'strip' than guards, more like AGC, but that might just be the view
Interesting, Matt S has identified that Q was wearing the BoG ties in FRWL... maybe the same tie?

The second one, with the little motifs is the same colour/direction as the dragoon guards (thick red, thin yellow and thick blue), but the emblem/motif is nothing like their cap badge. It might just be an old school tie!
The tie underneath it is the Winchester College tie, also known as the Old Wykehamist tie. Tanner wears it in For Your Eyes Only and Roger Moore wears it in Bullseye.
The tie he wears when he's killed is either the Old Exonian or the Old Felstedian.
Absolutely spot on, would have put money on military ties, never gave a thought to School/College ties. Excellent detective work and shows the power of AJB. Many thanks. {[]
