Magnoli's "Rubyeon" Necktie - Accuracy?

Die Another Day had some of the best neckties from all of Brosnan's era and a particular favourite of mine is the red stripe-ey one that he wears in the Hong Kong hotel's (cleverly named Rubyeon) lobby.
Going through Magnoli's vast catalog of ties, I noticed that he makes a replica of it.
I was wondering how accurate it is to the original tie (that I'm sure some of you own) and any impressions that one has about his ties (quality etc.).
Thank you.

I've also always been curious about which of their 2 versions is the most accurate - "uphill" or "downhill" stripes?

Isn't that a distinction between the American and English style of stripes?
    Downhill, I suppose.

They did a great job with that one. The direction of most English regimental/club/school stripes goes "uphill". The Americans wanted to wear the English patterns but could wear them legitimately, so they changed the direction to make them different. This tie isn't a regimental stripe, so the direction of the perceived stripe on this tie doesn't matter. Upwards stripes are always better visually because they draw the eye upwards to the face and follow the direction a suit buttons and the placement of the breast pocket. Downwards stripes always look wrong to me for these reasons. The "uphill" here is more accurate, and Turnbull & Asser typically does all their stripes or ribs in this direction, probably for the reasons I mentioned.

I can't really comment on the accuracy of that particular tie but I have several of Magnoli's ties and I would say that the quality is excellent and they are great value for money! You won't be disappointed.

From a thread called "Brosnan bilbao tie, pipeline tie, beluga factory tie", I dug up this photo that Charmed & Dangerous had posted.
(I hope that he doesn't mind. If he does, I would take no issue in editing my post.)
    Original tie:

It appears to be a truly excellent replica.
I doubt it but I do wonder, would T&A make a one-off upon request or have the swatches been long gone?
Will probably pull the trigger on it.
