That doesn't look to me like a Sub.

See for yourself. Spotted during the boat chase in New Orleans.

IRL, Sir Roger preferred Breitling and Piaget (for black-tie). A man with very good taste :p.
Am I losing my mind or is it actually not a Rolex?
Also, in The Man With The Golden Gun why is there a cyclops to his Sub? Did they change watches just for the close-up shot?
a reasonable rate of return

Believe with the blu ray release somebody (possibly here) spotted the cyclops on his sub which was a new discovery!

    This pic is interesting

A lot of people can't grasp the fact that the Rolex of today is not the Rolex pre-80s. Yes, the quality is still there but there is so much more attached to the watch beyond it being a great tool.

I actually think Omega fits a modern Bond much more. I don't think Mr. Bond would be wearing the choice of financial executives everywhere/the most faked watch of all time. If anything, he'd wear a pre-ceramic sub because in his line of work clear bling and a watch that can shatter probably wouldn't be the best choice. Then again, he wore an 8500 PO. His Spectre watch was given to him and it is much more brushed than the standard model and thus the better choice imo.

I remember that this particular watch has been discussed somewhere here already.
It may be better to move this to the mem&coll forum.

And yes, this is not a Rolex.

My guess is Breitling or Heuer.

Consensus is, that Rolex fits much better Bond than Omega, right from the novels to (unpaid) product placement.

Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!
