Gents, the black TB shirt does wear very large. Even a small for a person that takes a medium will more than likely need to be tailored. And yes, the hem has been altered, as everyone has said.
I also think its a very appropriate outfit for someone living on an island...or in Pennsylavnia :007) .....especially the things that have been called out like his shirt and his shoes. Just my opinion.
Full outfit vlog hopefully coming this weekend.....
Do you think there‘s any chance a Large could fit into a small?
Please...
you‘re right, sold out now.
Question to all you who grabbed it: Did you receive a confirmation e-mail yet?
I ordered one straight away this afternoon, checkout and payment went well but haven‘t received the confirmation mail yet. PayPal says: „open - authorization“?!

Perhaps it‘s bc I‘m not from the U.S. and ordered from abroad. Boy I hope so...
Gents, each to their own.
And re filming, im sure this low key outfit fits the plotline.
Would I ever wear boat shoes, nope never.
Would I ever wear light faded grey jeans, nope never (Im 51 ffs, and Def not living in Jamaica).
Some will buy cos its a Bond item.
Some will buy cos its their style and fits where they live.
With 2 little babas I rarely get out now and have vowed to buy stuff from b25 if I like it, will wear it and its not silly cost...
And lessons learned last few times for those of us that have been in to this for many years, esp watches etc, be patient...
I just called the store at the St. Louis Galleria mall, where I am at the moment. Amelia was very helpful over the phone. She said they are aware of the Bond connection and excited! She checked the stock and unfortunately only an XL left company wide in the US! The good news is that the Catalina is a regular item every season and they will be back.
Also, I wouldn’t be surprised if the green Felix one is a TB as well.
I must say a 100% silk shirt wouldn’t be high on my list to wear on a warm day in the Caribbean. My choice would have been linen or towelling but what do I know.
In bizarro Bond25, budget options are now the screen accurate items and now we'll need to locate really expensive Tom Ford alternatives to the Sperrys and Tommy Bajamas and the like )

I've already found some more expensive alternatives! )
Can anyone give a better idea of the sizing - I’m normally a medium going large, and the TB size guide suggests a medium for me, but if they are like tents as suggested, should I aim for a small?!

Yes, a small. I'm a medium in almost everything as well (Sunspel, Barbour, almost anything from Royale Filmwear), 16.5" dress shirt and I swim in a Tommy medium. I would be more than comfortable in a small and might have to go XS if I wanted a fitted look.
I was able to get a NWT medium for half price this morning so if its too big on me and someone needs to size up from a small I'll be happy to exchange.
For those outside the US, Tommy Bahama caters to a certain kind of wealthy older gentlemen — generous in proportions, as well as means. In other words, the stuff is mostly cut for guys with guts.

Or someone with a large muscular frame like Craig who can also fill it out.

This is the way I tend to think now, too. If a new item of clothing works in my lifestyle, I will consider it. In my case the Jamaica outfit seems custom made — I live in one of the sailing capitals of the world where you're looked at sideways if you don't dress down.

I'm betting they still tailored it quite a bit. But there's no doubt that a good physique makes a lot of outfits work.
Damn cant find a large. I hear they fit like tents lol
I bagged a Navy but wouldnt mind a black as not sure what color it def is lol
Ahh, that I didn't know. Probably should've guessed though, when I think of Tommy Bahama what comes to mind are overweight retirees in Florida...and now it's probably a Bond brand—B25's wardrobe off to an odd start
Anyway I picked up a black long sleeve late yesterday in large so if it ends up being too big, and you still haven't found one, I'll let you know -{

Yeah it looks they definitely tailored it. Craig's probably wearing a small.

I can only see shadow (grey) not black
Looks like the black in size small is all gone now... This group must have made a run on them today !

you can still call the Tommy Bahama stores to order them. This is a very known and stable shirt. Im pretty sure you will be able to spot a few.
Also, I wouldn’t be surprised if the green Felix one is a TB as well.
Edit: Somebody beat me to it! )

Does it though? It looks massive in the back and fits like a sack. It somehow makes him look fat even though he isn't.
I get that we love Bond clothes in this forum, but I can't get behind this outfit. At all.
I'm sure it'll be restocked before the movie comes out—like others have said, the Catalina seems like one of TB's staples.
