That sounds pretty much like what I decided to go with, probably can't comfortably wear a sweater with it, but with a t-shirt it works, I'm a 46 chest, wear 46 size suits, I don't generally button jackets like this so that also was part of the decision. Honestly I think the issue on both of these jackets/coats is the high cut arm holes but I like the trim fit everywhere else so I will just deal with it.

    here is a size chart
    https://www.rogueterritory.com/collections/jackets/products/supply-jacket-ridgeline?variant=5415651344416

as for the alterations, I thought about, the size I have borders on too tight in the chest but the next size up (I purchased both) would have required a lot of work, I stuck with the X rather than the XX, had exactly the same issue with the Billy Reid Peacoat and rather than pay a lot to have the XX recut I just decided to make the X work.

Thank you very much. Yes, I found the chart on site while I couldn’t initially. I know there’s been some discussion about sizing with regard to stiffness and give. It looks as though the XL should do it everywhere except the shoulders may be a bit snug.

    Thanks again for the input!

You should go with the XXL for a 46 inch chest. RGT told me that in advance of purchase and when I received mine it fitted perfectly.

I don't mean to sound like a third grader, but is the Rogue Territory jacket designed for a certain type of weather\climate? Or is it just a regular jacket-when-you-need-a-jacket jacket?
    Yes. Consssssiderably.

Just a light weight I'd say and pretty versatile I'd say, much more versatile than a suede jacket and very wearable.

I would say it is for spring/fall and perhaps summer as well depending on where you are.

It's a great outer layer to keep the wind off. You could wear one or more layers beneath it, depending on the size you get, for colder weather.

I tend to run a little warm and when i wore this jacket out during while running errands this winter and i was really hot in it and that was me just wearing a tshirt and a thermal shirt underneath. For me their is no way i could wear this jacket during the summer as i'd probably roast myself to death :#

Interesting. I run warm as well, but I find that uninsulated waxed canvas does nothing for me when hit with an icy wind.

They sent me all the suits, including the tuxedo and the dark grey suit, shirt etc....there will be a full review coming on it, but TF was unable to divulge where the suit is shown/used in the movie. I call it the Mystery Suit.
See post #4077 of this thread, someone put pictures from the suit collection and in the following pages people put pictures of all the ties.

It’s a very pale blue tab collar shirt, for the collection they paired it with the Gray POW suit we’ve already seen and it looks very nice and very Connery, but no idea if that’s in the film or not. Same with the sort of herringbone tie with the Blue POW suit.

You mention The Bond Experience, unless David is planning on getting to it later it seems they sent him just the two suits and dinner suit so who knows if that confirms it’s not in the film

Darn, I was hoping Tom Ford had inadvertently revealed some secrets through what they sent you :))

On another note, you mentioned it in the gray suit video, would you be able to show what the accurate pocket square looks like? I’ve seen some places mention it’s off white silk, you mentioned it had a crazy trim or something, so I’m curious.

I just come from outside wearing it and even if it is a light jacket, I was warm in it this afternoon in France !!! Waxing I guess...

Yeah I think when I went out it was like 35° out and in the sun it was fine but once the wind picks up it gets REALLY cold.

as i want to play it safe and dissinfect it, i plan to just leave it hanging on a hanger for a few days before i touch and wear it. if i leave it and it hits direct sunlight for 12 hours a day will it cause colour fade? or colour change? as i plan to leave it outdoors where i usually dry wet clothes , would you guys know the best way to dissinfect it, and best way to treat and care for it - thanks in advance everyone

hope to hear fro you guys soon

Do whatever puts your mind at ease.

Most shipping times should allay any live virus concerns. I wouldn't hang any clothing in direct sunlight unnecessarily.

Just follow the manufacturer's care instructions and hang it on a proper coat hanger to prevent storage stretching.

    Enjoy your new jacket! -{

This jacket is made to take a hard beating. Trust me, it gets better with time. Don`t bother yourself with sunlight, scratches, dirt etc.
Heavy use gives the jacket a story to tell.

Like a Barbour, the more you wear it, the more the wax will settle and thin down and the lighter it gets.

Definitely, though I did buy this a while back and it's a very nice polo! Think there had been talk that it was originally designed for Casino Royale in this colour but it wasn't used?

Just also got the Sunspel email.

Reminds me - I wish they would make their Casino Riviera T-Shirts screen accurate again (fix that wide band neck collar)

Absolutely agree. I bought the other one of them made from Pima cotton a couple of weeks ago. Feels much bettter as it has the slimmer neck collar and the lighter cloth also reminds me more of the original version issued a couple of years ago

Agree, although I wish it was in the film! The Riviera is a phenomenal polo.

BTW I got last week the Barbour Graham. I don´t believe it was yet confirmed but was on sale I decided to go ahead and buying it. I use to wear L but as I read this one was running big I sized down. When I received it and tried it on I really got dissapointed... :s
I mean the style of the jacket is not only bulky like hell (and I should have probably gone two sizes down at least) but also the cut is simply not stylish at all. Perhaps someone here would disagree and maybe it´s because of being too big for me but I am sending it back and not even thinking on replacing by a smaller one.

I have been reading comments on this jacket for months now.
Did I want it, because Bond´s wearing it? Yes.
Did I want it, because it looks cool? Yes.
But different from what others experience, I cannot find that this is a perfect jacket ONLY because Bond´s wearing it and it looks cool, but that it is a problematic piece of clothing.
Wearing it feels like being in a sauna and the wax does transfer to other clothes or spots you might lay down the jacket.
    Best regards,

    thanks for that storm
cause i saw in the rogue website that it stated - the jacket will get darker after use, so i thought it was already dark and will continue to get darker

Thank you for that validation. I was pretty much dismissed for suggesting the wax might transfer to other fabrics. The Kool-Aid is potent here.

Wax transfer was an issue with a new Barbour, but haven't had any such problems with the RT jacket.
