Waist sizing is very true to size
    Def don't size down

My duster came Tuesday, went down to 48 and love it (wasn't happy with the 50)...

Was a pity the watercolours are no longer included. Apparently Tom Ford took issue with it and they were forced to stop giving them away.

This is off topic but is anyone able to remember the link to the more accurate looking Drake's someone posted a while back? With the darker sole's. Understand if it's too far back in the recesses of the discussion of course!

I’ve had my eye on that Bennet Winch suit carrier for years. Could never bring myself to pull the trigger, and definitely won’t until I know what business travel looks like post-covid, but I’m glad to see it in the film. It’s a beautiful piece of luggage.

My Hook and Albert weekender bag will have to do. A couple years ago Revolution had a couple colors of the Bennett Winch suit carrier on "clearance" for $600+. :s

I had once hoped to find a used Bennett Winch for a decent price. I never did.

Is the Bennett Winch on the official site def the correct model from the film or is it a seasonal thing with minor detail changes?

They told me it's the model Craig picked up for the movie, but honestly don't know if there have been some changes.
We see it only in a brief second so...

Tom ford took issue? Why ,the outfits were nothing to do with them?

Alessandro told me they had simply run out!

Someone mentioned a few months ago that the Crosby boots have some minor differences between production batches. For those who don't know what I'm talking about, the batch that was available when they were first identified had a visible thin pink/orange coloured layer above the crepe sole. More recently there was a new batch with a screen accurate, all black mid-sole. Although Drake's never updated their product pics to show this. I purchased a pair about 3 months ago and they had the SA mid-sole colours.

I would recommend you email drake's and ask which batch version they're currently selling.

Back in Feb a very helpful Astorflex employee confirmed that the Dukeflex in chestnut would be coming to the UK.

    Academy menswear in st Ives

The owner was going to ring me as soon as they arrived and promised a discount code for ajb

Obviously covid struck and hit production in northern Italy hard

As yet they haven't come to UK

I bought some Drake's as they confirmed they were carrying SA stock

I initially bought the non SA pair of Crosby's that Bond_Ambitions mentioned with the pink/orange layer. After returning them I bought a pair from GOODS based in Denmark that were carrying the correct SA pair. I checked the website and the Crosby's at GOODS are about £50 more than they are at Drakes. The colour code I have on the box of the pair of SA Crosby's 004 480 D if that helps.
    I'm sorry......that last hand...nearly killed me

I was in contact with Goods on the hunt for a SA pair, but they only have the newer version now, unfortunately.

Thanks very much for the input everyone, hopefully they’ll become available again because I feel the SA boots look a lot classier.

Apparently they were sent lawyer advice that they weren't allowed to specifically promote as a Bond Brand with tie in merchandise!

Wow! I just looked on the Massimo Alba website and all of the watercolours have had the heads/faces and hands removed!!!! How bizarre!
    Yes. Considerably.

So bizarre...although I see TF doesn't care about the back heads as the bottom Winch one is still heads and hands a-go-go...

No, they are a new version with rubber soles instead of crepe, SA except for the sole.

Personally, I don't know why people are making a big deal out of the ones with the tan leather line, I'm pretty sure for the screen accurate season, all Drake's did differently was spread a light layer of brown leather dye over the leather line. I'd be surprised if there's anything else that's different.

How do the Crosby's fit? True to size 1/2 big/ 1/2 size small? Any input would be appreciated

go half a size up your usual dress shoe size. This was actually suggested on the website at one time.

Finally completed my first NTTD outfit now the shirt has been SA tailored.
decided not to have the TF jeans taken up as I love these and wear them with other shirts etc.
It’s actually the only outfit I have that’s completely screen accurate from head to toe including the watch and most probably the last :))
All the other outfits for NTTD will no doubt have some frugal to them.

Same! Looks like such a useful concept but have not found anything yet (a lot of garment bags and weekenders, but not this combination).

There are a lot of weekenders where the outer shell is the suit holder (useful but a pain to zip up sometimes)but the Bennett Winch is the only one I've seen with a separate suit bag that rolls around attaches to the main bag.

I am honestly shocked there hasn't been a knock off made in the last few years since it was introduced.

    Me, too.

I owned one of those other suit-holder weekenders and found it a flawed concept. It was clever, but there was little room inside after you'd folded up the sides.

I also ran into issues with more than one airline who said it was too big for carry on.
