Based on the navy draw strings and the white tips, these look like a possible match for the shorts. Obviously still early to tell. Wardrobe also could have removed the rear logo.

Close but no cigar, Craig was filming today and as he sat down to get into the water for a shot you could see no back pocket on the shorts and no back eyelets.

Hi, I went to the NY Tom Ford store. They didn’t have any jeans in pale gray. But I tried grey ones in slim and straight fit to compare them.
In my opinion it can’t be the slim fit ones they used for the shooting. They are skin tight and I went even up a size.
I ended up ordering these which are still available online on the Tom Ford website and had them sent to the store: https://www.tomford.com/straight-pale-grey-selvage-jeans/TFD002-BPJ26.html?cgid=JEANS&dwvar_TFD002-BPJ26_color=K01#start=1
I went two sizes up to get the look of the pictures from the shooting.
I must say I’m really happy with these. The color is also K01.
Only thing is on the website they have a white TF label. But mine got a black one, just on DC.
Maybe it’s just not correct on the website, so this might be an option for some of you.
    My contact there was Wes.
I can upload some pictures maybe on Monday.

    It’s not the same.
    I already checked that option.

DC’s shorts are plain from the back .. Vilebrequin has a big logo on the upper back

It’s been already verified by David from the Bond Experience that it was indeed the slim version. I own it too and it’s not slim at all.

Either way , slim or not, they are still great jeans. Congrats -{ :)

Of course. I didn’t care about the logo. Wardrobe can remove that as they did on the la perlas in CR. The rear eyelets and pocket are what rule this out, now that I’ve seen the more detailed photos from today.

It probably won‘t be it, but look at this:

Forget the 3 side stripes, those could have been removed by costume department:

This pair of adidas has the same narrow seam on the leg as the one we‘re looking for. What do the experts think?

The slim version has been verified by TF .....the correct code has been shared in this thread. That being said if the slim doesn't fit you then absolutely get the straight version....after all, you want to be able to wear these! :007)

What are the chances TF will restock the jeans as part of a "B25" Collection?? I can't find a SA pair in my size anywhere!

The chances are high they will re-stock...possibly in November. I would contact Crystal at TF store in NYC to inquire more...

    I'm loving how easy it is to get the Bond 25 kind of look. A quick hunt through my wardrobe and I found a pair of navy OB Bulldogs and a Lacoste grey t-shirt. Not even close to SA but close enough for me :) -{

This is just based on what I can see in the set pics so far, but I think the swim shorts:

-are a shorter length, 4" or 5" inseam
-don't have open side pocket. There may be a pocket on the right with a zip closure
-don't have a back pocket near as I can tell
-seem to be made of material with some stretch to it and are a tailored or slim fit
-of course the dark blue drawstring witj the lighter colored aglets
-in one photo we can see the top of the shorts and they seem to have a narrow waistband. It also seems to be elasticized but I can't be sure.

Now I am NOT saying this is them. But I think we're looking for something very similar in style to these ones from Vilebrequin

Interestingly, Orlebar does a Bulldog in a Sport fabric that has some stretch (13% elastane). So maybe these are a new OB model that we just haven't seen yet?

Ok, thanks for the info. I wasn’t aware that they have been confirmed officially.
Still, unless the older slim fit was a totally different cut, Daniel Craig has Flamingo like legs, or the costume department did some serious tailoring, I would still bet the information is wrong.

I guess anything is possible at this point :))

I honestly have no idea. I went through hundreds of navy swim shorts on dozens of sites and those were the closest I found to what I saw in the set pics. And they don't exist anymore.

I know that OB has some kind of deal going on with Eon or the Fleming estate or whatever. So I could see them doing a limited edition short to coincide with the release.

On the other hand, as others here have pointed out, Tom Ford does a similar shirt to that Tommy Bahama. And OB has the Ridley linen shirt which has the same vibe. Why didn't they use one of those? I guess brand loyalty only goes so far once filming starts.

This may sound weird, but given the brands we have seen so far (Tommy Bahama, Sperry), I have this feeling that Larlarb walked into a Nordstrom Rack or SaksOff5th and grabbed a bunch of off-season stuff she thought might work for the Jamaica scenes. So the shorts may very well be Vilebrequins or Onias from one or two seasons ago.

Now, having admitted my total failure to find the shorts, cue another member identifying the correct brand and model in 3 ... 2 ... 1 ... :D

I agree with you. I went to TOM Ford at selfridges in London and tried them on. I would say I am exactly same size Daniel Craig in terms of height and build. I tried the Slim light grey jeans on and they were skin tight like leggings. I mentioned to the sales assistant and showed him the picture and he said the ones Craig is wearing are the straight leg fit. Also no one from TF or anywhere else has been able to officially verify which are the exact jeans as far as I am aware.

Certainly looks like Craig is wearing the straight leg to my eye. I’m pretty sure his calves would burst out of the skinny cut!

The reason why you think they are straight Is because they were hemmed. The inseam of those is 34. Danny boy is not that tall That’s for certain. If you look at the gentleman’s photos from TF, the excessive flaring at the bottom (due to not hemming to his accurate inseam) certainly makes the upper part looks slimmer.

Mine is slim fit and it’s nowhere near slim. I own slim fit jeans so I KNOW what a real slim jeans looks like.

At the end , you have to go with what suits you. You can’t have slim jeans if you can’t wear them :007)

    To the gent who got the jeans, I hope you enjoy them they are great -{

Your comment about the custom designer walking into a Nordstrom rack hits the nail right on the head.

That was to be expected since they changed custom designers for Bond 25. Suttirat will want to have her own stamp and won’t follow Jany Temim’s lead. This includes going after different brands from what we were used two in the last 2 bonds movies.

My guess, and a side from having the usual TF sponsorship , I don’t see any other brand from the last 2 movies coming back UNLESS DC himself decides to wear them. (I’m really hoping for that)

As a cyclist the straight fit me SA look, ie looser calves. The slim were like leggings
    Skewered, one sympathises...

You could very well be right. The only thing that gives me pause about these trunks is the length of the rise. It’s higher than what has been mainstream for the last several years. Although higher rises are definitely on the way back into fashion, they haven’t really started cropping up in department stores just yet.
