This may sound weird, but given the brands we have seen so far (Tommy Bahama, Sperry), I have this feeling that Larlarb walked into a Nordstrom Rack or SaksOff5th and grabbed a bunch of off-season stuff she thought might work for the Jamaica scenes. So the shorts may very well be Vilebrequins or Onias from one or two seasons ago.
You could very well be right. The only thing that gives me pause about these trunks is the length of the rise. It’s higher than what has been mainstream for the last several years. Although higher rises are definitely on the way back into fashion, they haven’t really started cropping up in department stores just yet.
Based on what we saw far, It won’t surprise me one bit if these shorts were picked up from some random tiny Jamaican shop
Sorry if this has been covered - based on the pics of barefoot/speargun Craig - Why are we sure these aren't one of the shorter length OB's? Setter sport or Springer?

Im not up to date with the OB range. However I did note on the daily mail pics these shorts have no side tabs but they do have drawstrings
All the shorts I'm seeing from Ted Baker have a white drawstring, as opposed to navy drawstring with white aglets, so unless you've found different ones I don't think they're it.
So those are listed under women's sandals, wondering how the sizing would work out because even if it's unisex I'm a 43... though I can't say I've ever had sandals with numbered sizes. Ah the things I never thought I'd have to consider looking at Bond clothing

Oooop-s sorry, wrong link! I had so many windows open!
I wonder if the swimshorts are Orlebar Brown and will be released to coincide with the release of Bond 25? This could be "Phase Three" of their 007 collaboration.
Phase One - The printed Bond poster swimshorts released last year
Phase Two - The upcoming retro inspired Bond pieces
Phase Three - The Bond 25 collection, just in time for summer 2020
If Omega can keep a new watch a secret until the film's release, why not Orlebar Brown? My two cents! -{
People need to realize that it’s not gonna be any of the brands we saw on the last 2 movies.
I’d search elsewhere.
I’m willing to bet they were picked out so randomly off a rack store somewhere.
Agreed, that's why I think it may be somebody like outerknown or Hurley
I think the tendency to go back to OB for the swim shorts is based on the fact that they are now an official partner of EON. That’s not a Timex on Bond’s wrist. Granted, the OB partnership can’t fairly be compared 1:1 with the Omega partnership. Still seems odd that OB wouldn’t be featured given that Jamaica retirement apparel seems right in their wheelhouse.
As for the other items, though, I agree 100% that Jany’s heritage-based (or even Frogley’s TF-heavy) approach to dressing Bond is a thing of the pastt. We’re back to the pre-2008 random smattering of brands.
It might even be a good thing. I’ve always been of the camp that Bond should be looked to for style-inspiration as opposed to direct copying. The look should be more important than the brand.

Fair enough but why go through the bother, especially when it's ted baker prices )

The navy Sunspels. They have a waistband (okay inside) but maybe the waistband just pops out?
There also seems to be a sort of crescent moon shape logo:
