I live in the rural US where not a day goes by, alas, when I don’t see a 50 year old guy climb out of a pickup truck wearing “tactictool” trousers and combat boots. 🥺
To me the N.Peals are only marginally more wearable than the Tom Ford Solden ski trousers since cargos are more of a thing. But there’s definitely an Old Navy vibe.
From David's video, I don't even know that I would think of these as combat trousers or even tech trousers if I saw someone wearing them. Maybe if they were were olive or camo, but not in soft grey. The light cotton and the colour make me think more of cargo trousers than tech/tactical/combat. Of course, worn with combat boots, my opinion would likely change but they definitely make me think of cargo rather than combat.
Anyone's got an idea what Connollys James Bond Collection will be? I mean they only provided the Jacket and the Shirt (maybe more stuff that didn't get used for the film in the end) and I don't know if they're redoing the shirt after they did this very limited 50 pieces edition. So I'm wondering what they might bring up.
Unfortunately, when I reached out to Connolly England they informed me that they will not be reissuing the shirt from no time to die. Without them coming out and saying it directly, they basically implied that it's Finamore's call since they produced the shirt, and Finamore doesn't seem to be a brand that's interested in the Bond spotlight. But who knows? Crazier things have happened.
Was in earlier this week, was suggested collection is launching at the weekend and is inspired by to supplement screen used items - a la OB/NPeal 'inspired by' collections
The Connolly jacket is back as the "No Time to Die Giubbino"
It has the new, larger buttons, but I'm my experience, they're more than happy to send the SA ones free of charge. Another change I noticed is the 007 logo on the tag now.
hi tbh the NPEAL collection for NTTD has been an embarrassment from the start, firstly the James Bond Army sweater lol, never has the Army wore Navy jumpers or never was 007 in the Army and now the cargo pants which are ridiculously priced especially when you can buy my purpose fit trousers at a fraction of the price.
From the bunch of pictures that was released lately, I've been able to finally ID the white shirt Ash wears while chatting with Bond and Felix in the Jamaican night. It's the Gant Shirt Regular Plain 100% cotton collar Button down. One very peculiar detail is the third button in the back of the collar. From an article it states:
"the third collar button originally served a utilitarian purpose: It kept your necktie from slipping, back when ties were so skinny they’d fit between button and the collar fold. The detail was probably inspired by the days of detachable collars, which were secured by a button in the back. When Brooks Brothers eliminated the third button from its shirts in the late ’60s, probably because ties had become too wide for the button to serve its purpose, old-school customers were furious and started stockpiling the last remaining third-button shirts, according to a Brooks spokesman."
So it makes sense a typical American feature for a CIA agent

My best guess is the navy blue swim shorts will turn out to be OB as well…
Yeah, was thinking the same…
The thought of (well, let’s be honest) 40-50yo blokes running around in combat trousers and combat boots in their daily lives is hilarious…😅

Check it out, you won’t be disappointed
Working on that. Hope it turns out something

Brilliant :-)
I believe it was one Dr S. Johnson who famously said "when a man is tired of extra pockets, he is tired of life"! 😝
So true!
Or 18-39 year-olds for that matter...

Mate, before you use a picture of me, ask next time ..
1. CR. 2. TSWLM. 3. LTK. 4. GF. 5. SF.
😂😂😂
You've rarely looked better.
Have we ID'd the flat cap yet? I'm pretty sure Daniel Craig wore it at Heathrow once.
I’d love a pair of chinos in the Npeal grey but I’ll pass on the combats!
Apologies. I searched for "supremely stylish older gentleman" and this was the first pic that came up 😁
thank you for the update, here is a better picture of Madeleines jacket that should help to identified it

Connolly has just released a few variations of the Giubbino jacket as part of their 007 collection:
Navy suede https://www.connollyengland.com/products/suede-giubbino-jacket-navy-1?_pos=3&_sid=a637f5ed7&_ss=r
stone suede https://www.connollyengland.com/products/suede-giubbino-jacket-stone?_pos=4&_sid=a637f5ed7&_ss=r
tobacco suede https://www.connollyengland.com/products/suede-giubbino-jacket-tobacco?_pos=5&_sid=a637f5ed7&_ss=r
I'm hoping they release the shirt again in some larger sizes. It would seem pretty dumb not to include it.
I also hope for the shirt, I'd really like to get it after i missed it last time.
I don't think these are part of the collection; they've been available for a while now.

Also, I was mistaken here. The jackets have been available for some time, but they've just updated them with all the 007 branding.
Hi guys,
Maybe you know about English/American brands more than I do. Do you know a brand with a G inside a squared rhombus? Something like that
It looks very like Gant except the font is different.
It could be. Was created by me
