I tried on both straight and slim fit in March as my source confirmed to me what DC had been in sampling at TF.
Slim fit (in the model I tried on) was very snug everywhere, and most tellingly even close fitting at the ankle (as not many of us have different size there where as we are all different elsewhere).
But of course not all TF slim fit fit the same either.
So back to the question. I believe the fit we see is Straight. But Slim may fit you that way if you are a certain shape...
So decide if you want the SA jeans in which case we all have our view, or do you want the SA look, in which case buy the fit that gives you this...

DC’s doesn’t show any back eyelids or a zipper type of pocket. I also wouldn’t think the custom dept would go that “extreme” just to remove a couple of eyelids.
It is however a close backup option for those willing to settle for just the look not caring about the SA’s actual brand and model

I visited a couple of Tommy Bahama stores here in the states. Seems like the black Catalina twill long sleeve is sold out but there are short sleeves a plenty.
It seems that the french Vuarnet site now has a restock. Better go check it out before to late...
it will never be too late, this is a style they have carried for many many years, they will soon be back in stock everywhere and back orders filled. As writingsonthewall mentioned Vuarnet are now well aware of the connection so even more reason for them to continue to make these.

As a for what it's worth.. Those on a budget (Canoe - take note) I picked up some 7FAM and Hugo Boss "Maine" jeans in a weathered grey that both have a really good screen accurate look (Especially the Boss ones) If.. If I dropped the $300+ on the TF jeans.. its guaranteed I'd get something on them in a month.. )

This is not part of their new collection coming next week, but there will be another phase coming later. I don't have all the details about that one, but that would be the time to release clothes from Bond 25 (if they are making new pieces for Bond 25). It doesn't make much sense for them to release clothes now for a film that isn't coming for almost another year.
I also would be very surprised if Bond isn't wearing any OB during the Jamaica scenes. As others have said it seems like those scenes will be tailor made to showcase the brand.

Finally tracked down the Sperry's , They arrived yesterday.
Got to say mega comfy and I like them.
My crew clothing boat shoes were a bit battered so I needed some anyway although B25 as always pushed me there.
Scroll the images until you see the guy (green shorts) and look at the neck.... it's the same! Obviously wardrobe department have cut down the shirt and aged it considerably - but all the details fit.
Now the biggest tease - scroll down to 'About the product' and read the line "An OB Hero fabric" - what's interesting here is that ONE other t-shirt, made of the same fabric, is described in that way. The pink one! The other linen t-shirts are described differently. Maybe we will also see him wear a pink one??????
The other, not so clear indication, is the thick hem line around the sleeves - which has appeared in other images, although it does look like wardrobe have messed with this too?
It's all in the details ;-)
