    No worries

From memory I have been shown 3 from Bond 25

    And left over fabric from...

    Skyfall PTS
    Skyfall Granborough
    Spectre PTS
    Spectre Trackstripe
    Spectre Rome
    Spectre final suit

    This is great.

I reached out to TF, and an MTO suit is also possible if you fit well of the rack (that is, ordering a stock model with a selected fabric).

I was quoted $3100 for the lower-range fabrics.

    10% extra for mtm
So worth it to get the fit you want
Once you go mtm the details can be specc'd anyway...

Apparently Connolly is working on it.

It may not be the same cotton/linen blend fabric, but pure linen would be fine with me as long as the color and look is the same.

The power of the Bond community. Fantastic!

I think the reason why the swim shorts from the Jamaica scenes have never been identified is, that till now they simply did not exist. With the new Orlebar Brown Black line we have learned that they do make zipped side pockets. And we have seen the Setter Drawstring. My bet is that they issue the SA swim shorts in spring 2020.

I believe David announced its definately not Orlebar brown , so we'll just have to wait.

Did we ever get a price point on the Connolly reissue?

No, not yet. We probably won't know until February. Start saving.
  • sunny01sunny01 Posts: 525MI6 Agent
I reckon they will whack the price up. I sent them email offering to garner interest to see if they would consider doing an earlier re-release for bond fans sourcing the same or similar material and colour if we could generate enough interest and units to make it worth their while. No response from them yet....maybe they will consider it. If i hear anything i will post it here.

I picked up some dove grey Massimo Alba cords. They are two sizes too big, so if the tailor cant take them in without serious effort, I may be letting them go.

I could not find, despite some serious effort, to find any fine wale Massimo Alba pants in dove grey.

Hence, the wale on these is probably too wide for the SA trousers.

Regardless, here is the style code and some pics.

OB did not make the swim shorts in NTTD. Would have been wonderful if they had....

    Good find!

Definitely the correct style model - WINCH.

I never managed to get out of Massimo Alba the definitive colour code - but these look right from your photos.

As for the cord width, they said same as suit, but no evidence so far on the net from my searches to find anything in any fine cord close to the colour in the published pictures and hard to distinguish any definitive cord pattern even in these, due to resolution of the pictures, so you never know...

Massimo contacts have not been always very clear in their responses. So don’t know is the answer! We need some better resolution pics of trousers from filming, or a code from Massimo, but that’s not worked so far!

I'm very relieved that there's nothing in NTTD I like enough to buy so far, and also disappointed that there's nothing in NTTD I like enough to buy so far.

There's *maybe* the black tommy bahama shirt but even that is a stretch.

This is the first Craig Bond film where I haven't wanted several items from the film.

Definitely an Omega you think then?

Not that there's much doubt at this point, but the idea that she's 007 grows even stronger if she's wearing a watch like his! :)

Saw this in Brunello today. Looks like cord suits might be a trend soon.

The vest looks like someone's chopped the sleeves and bottom off a Belstaff Trialmaster or Fieldmaster. Not sure if it's something off the shelf or custom work by Suttirat?
