I have a couple of Isaia's ties and they are quite nice. They are a Neopolitan brand, so would be in keeping with the rest of the outfit’s Italian flair.

Not the tie but getting in the ballpark maybe?

Meh after looking at a better pic of the screen used tie, I'd say not.

Any good budget alternatives for the BC shirt he's wearing in Matera?

Just had another look at the Isaia tie and realized the pattern is not a match at all....

The pattern is symmetric, the diagonal rows of dots go up and down. I think you'd also call this an isometric pattern.

Compare this with the SA tie, its pattern is distinctly asymmetric. The diagonal rows of dots go in one direction only.

    gah.

Apologies if someone has already flagged this in a separate thread, but over on the latest Hodinkee Radio watch podcast, Ben Clymer talks a (little) bit about his Matera set visit with Omega. The tastiest bites for me being:
    - The Matera scenes position in the film (which I wasn't aware of);
    - Reports of a great on-set vibe (promising?); and
    - Ben revealing that the new Bond watch is Titanium on a titanium bracelet.

Sorry wallet, about that last thing.

We're gonna need a bigger piggy bank.

Unless he's talking about the dive watch from the first photos released I just wish it looked more unique, titanium or not it looks just like the Aqua Terras in Skyfall and Spectre.

I'm assuming it's not the Aqua Terra, but the other one you refer to (Diver 300M on mesh bracelet).

I think this is the good and hard work of some members here persisting and asking for reissues and setting up lists for possible orders. Many thanks to them.
I contacted Massimo Alba when the suit was firstly identified and just asked if they had a list and in case if they had one if they would inform me in case they would reissue the suit/ pants.
I think it is best to just email them.

There is a group order being compiled for the grey “steps” trousers (WINCH2, TO301, U809) on the “For sale or trade” tab under topic NTTD Massimo Alba - Steps “Trousers” special Order. This list will close on Friday. MA want to speed the order through so it can be delivered by December.

Went to the local Tom Ford event, and they also brought Skyfall/Sceptre fabrics. Went with the grey sharkskin Skyfall suit.

I opted for the Shelton fit (now with side vents - was previously only single vent), with peak lapels. The O'Connor fit doesn't work on me.

    Very excited either way!

I noticed that a good chunk of the TF Bond fabrics are 'B' fabrics, which puts them on the lower range of MTO/MTM pricing.

I saw two swatches for NTTD.

Here's a new official poster for No Time To Die, showing Bond in his dinner jacket:

    EGCw6-VGW4-AA-ZCG.jpg

It looks similar to the evening outfits in Quantum of Solace and Skyfall, with the jacket having a shawl collar and gauntlet cuffs. The collar has stitching around the outside edge, which I don't think is usual on that collar type. Perhaps Matt S can give us more information?

Call me crazy but did they Photoshop a white or silver dial on the watch?

The dinner jacket is by far the best looking piece of clothing we’ve seen from NTTD. I wish they had gone with the Shelton for the suits as well.

Definitely not, it's just a little light reflecting on the face.

Speaking of the watch, I'm quite surprised that we have a poster for a modern Bond film and the Omega on his wrist is half hidden and blurry in the corner, not all in our face.
  • Asp9mmAsp9mm Over the Hills and Far Away.Posts: 7,535MI6 Agent
It’s half hidden and blurry in that shot because he’s wearing the stunt watch. Which makes the choice of picture even more confusing.

I thought it was blurry because he is walking and his left arm is moving forward ?

The blurring of the Omega watch was clearly intentional.

They are not planning to give away anything just yet.

This seems to be a quickly put-together poster for the fans because of Bond’s global day.

Which it shouldn’t be. They know when their own holiday is. They had plenty of time to come up with something more inspiring. Without a trailer this image means nothing right now as it’s very generic at the moment.

To continue this wonderful depression: To me, the whole Global James Bond Day today felt rather generic or dare I say mediocre. Besides this lackluster attempt of a teaser poster, all we got was surveys and congratulations. „What’s your fav Bond car/moment/actor...“ or „Heineken wishes everybody a happy day“.

Nothing innovative. They could have done short-interviews with every member of the main cast and sprinkled them over the day to finally give some information about the characters. Take Malek as an example: He’s presumably the main villain yet we know nothing about him, which isn’t as suspenseful but rather stupid. Then release a good teaser poster let’s say at midday and to top it all of, have DC‘s short interview end with him speaking to the viewer and say: „Enjoy a first look at the new Bond 20-20“ at prime time.

I don’t know who is in charge of EoN‘s/ 007‘s public relations, but I for sure know what Gordon Ramsay would be telling them now...
The name is Walker by the way.

Honestly, I just hope all their efforts are going to making NTTD as good as can be.

I can live with poor posters, nonexistent trailers, flubbed social media opportunities, and the rest as long as the movie delivers.

I used SelectSpecs to order the Vuarnet 06 a few months ago. They offered the best price for Australia by far. I did have to send them a confirmation email a few days after the order because they had none in stock at the time, but they made up for this slight inconvenience by adding tracking for free which wasn't included originally.
I was very satisfied with my experience with SelectSpecs and would totally recommend them to Australian buyers.

I'll use them again If decide to get the 1613 pair, depending on how much further down the rabbit hole I fall.
