guys for those of you who have had 1 of these jackets before or got theres earlier than us.
Whats the best way to soften these up or is it a case of just wearing it as much as poss ?
    cheers

Wear it, wear it, wear it....

When you go out - wear it.

When you’re sitting in the house - wear it.

When you’re doing anything - wear it! :-)

Honestly, I love this jacket! It’s one of the few ‘Bond’ clothing items that, for a very reasonable price, encourages you to wear it and love it - as opposed to the ‘buy them and protect them’ brands.

The more you expose it to normal life, the more it will reward you.

Be bold and brave - this jacket demands it!

(The collar is sitting lovely and the feel and colour of the jacket is breaking in beautifully!)
    Yes. Considerably.

Good news concerning the TOM FORD NTTD clothes:

I was talking to the TF boutiques in London and Munich. Both confirmed that the clothes worn in NTTD will all be available in spring. They also mentioned that not every shop will get all items. So the grey jeans will come back in stock... TF Munich confirmed the jeans to be the straight fit model. Makes total sense to me looking at the current known NTTD outfits and sizes. Everything is a looser fit: trousers, shirts, jackets. Gone are the skin tight DC clothes...

Not to sound like a negative Nancy, but whatever you hear from Tom Ford, you have to take with a grain of salt. I got a confirmation from them that the Bond costume dept. purchased both the straight fit and the tapered fit or "slim fit" of the grey jeans. The next time I tried to get in touch with that person, they informed me that they got in trouble for saying too much. Not sure why that would matter (this was back in June) They also told me that the jeans would be released again in Oct. but never were. Then they decided to increase the price of them $200 on what little stock they had left, which after taxes, customs, and shipping puts them over $1,000. Jeans mind you, 1 pair. Hopefully it pans out in the end, but don't get your hopes up too high.

What exactly will be in that TF NTTD spring release? Other than the jeans, isn’t it just suiting that TF has in NTTD and aren’t the suits themselves already available? So just jeans, ties and maybe dress shirts?

How does everyone feel about this? We've become so accustomed to super slim-fit Bond that its a bit jarring to see him wearing mostly regular size clothing now.

I think Bonds choice of attire as well as the fit are relative to his current situation as he's retired. Personally I like that we're seeing more casual clothes that are a little more relaxed and give a more realistic idea of fit considering that most people aren't tailoring their clothes. I've found DC's suits to be a little too tight for my liking and I can't see how DC's could wear his suits like that 8-)

Craig’s Bond has been a trendy dresser, and they trends have firmly shifted away from the skin-tight look. I think Bond’s slightly more relaxed looks reflect that. But they definitely haven’t swing wildly in the opposite direction.

I tried to get some good stills from the trailer to show the looser look even of the yet unidentified black pants. Look especially at the knee area. Plenty of cloth...

    Hi all

Just bought the sloop suit and it arrived yesterday, beautiful price and for me it’s a keeper. I am a 38 cheat and 32 waist and a perfect fit. Agree with most comments, it is indeed a very lightweight suit and will be perfect for spring summer functions.

Biggest impression though was left by Alessandro at MA, extraordinary customer service. He answered questions within an hour and even on sundays. A huge thumbs up for MA as a brand.

Do we assume it‘s the same trousers in both scenes - with the RT jacket as well as with the MA coat?
In fact, from the trailer I got the impression that he’s wearing the trousers (5 pockets jeans?) with the RT jacket with the legs rolled up.

Just got in after a morning of Bond clothes hunting. I finally tried on the RGT tan Supply Jacket. I expected the jacket to be stiff but I was totally underwhelmed by it. It felt really flimsy and even though it fitted there was no chance I was going to shell out £280 for it. I was wearing my denim RGT Supply Jacket today and that in my opinion is a much superior product.

I then went to Rag and Bone and tried on a few of their classic Henley’s. These felt great on and are really good quality but i just couldn’t justify paying £115 for one.

So I went out Bond ready but came back with nothing :#

Yeah if Bond is not wearing skin tight clothing anymore then maybe its a good indicator where men's fashion is or currently headed in regards of fit.

For those not wanting to pay R&B money for the henley but want something close in terms of the material and look, why not try this as a budget alternative:
    https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F173725878952

Personally I’ve bought the R&B and it’s money well spent as it’s incredibly well made, very soft and looks to get quite a bit of film time so a pretty cheap piece for the presence it seems to get in the film but this looks a good option as a budget alternative. If your on the fence for the actual R&B though, buy it! You won’t regret it

Yes, using Neiman Marcus or Mr Porter, the final and total price was over 200 euros :s
